Bernard Hopkins v Jermall Charlo

Who would have won this?

 

Hopkins quite comfortably.

 

I suspect you know full well who would've won this.

 

BHop was a bad dude and I give him a major edge. He was so awkward and difficult to fight. Rushing in with his head, great gas tank, etc. Charlo can punch but I’m not sure he’s smart enough to handle a guy like BHop. Especially prime Hopkins.

Wish Charlo would improve his level of opposition and develop as a fighter. He’s got physical skills and heavy hands but he’s still pretty raw. At this stage, easy money for Bernard.

 

Bernard wins, his feet are better and more coordinated and his countering is better. Bernard only loses to faster, more coordinated people . Jermall may have good foot speed but he's not as coordinated and has shown he can be outmaneuvered and Bernard is a master of that.

Exclude Bernard vs. Kovalev and Smith (that's the twilight of his career)

 

I definitely know Bhop is favourite but I find him overrated

 

No Bernard beats that Kovalev.

 

Charlo is a lot like Howard Eastman but better. Hopkins still would win.

it is his best & only advantage over B-Hop

Only joe Smith packs the Mule in his punch to be able to KO the old man.

Enough said! Hopkins would be careful early and then stop Charlo late in my opinion.
