He’s sparring cubans in America at the moment but still no fight lined up

either he’s been injured or badly managed

He was Angel Fernandez’s first student. Angel said in an IFL interview a few weeks back that it’s been really frustrating and Isaac has not been able to fight due to politics but no one can say what those politics are. All very hush hush but it seems that even Angel hasn’t been seen working with him for months and now is in the Ohara Davies camp.

I noticed on boxrec that he is listed as being on the undercard of the mick hennesey show for Richards vs Pitters. I’m also not sure if Isaac is still in Miami as his Instagram videos show he’s often in London but keeps posting Miami pics.

From what I’ve seen Angel Fernandez has close links with Jorge Rubio and sent Isaac out there as he was supposed to have a US fight in December when Angel was in the AJ camp. But it was cancelled yet again.

they keeps saying they can’t speak about why he is out but my only guess is either a medical issue or something to do with Ted Bambi and maybe some kind of court case regarding his management rights.

I hope it works out for the kid tbh but Haymon is ruthless, no doubt the kid will get paid well. But he will be just pet feed for the big boys.

Not sure how many cruisers Haymon actually has. I think he was signed 9 odd months ago when Haymon was trying to build ITV with Eubank but now that has fallen flat on his face Isaac's been left with a contract with Haymon in a division he usually has no interest in.

Should have either stuck with Matchroom or moved over to Warren in my opinion.

Did he not fight because he priced himself out the market after the Okolie debacle?

I didn't see anything in the Okolie fight that suggested that Chamberlain would ever do anything at higher levels. That was 2 years ago, he's had one fight since.

Doesn’t look it to me but could be. They’ll have standard contracts so the layout being the same isn’t a giveaway. Signature looks a tiny bit different to my eye plus it’s a better quality image.

Issac seems to be a good guy, but let’s be honest he’s not really going anywhere and judging by his Instagram, he seems to like to train rather than actually fight.

If he was serious, he wouldn’t have left Matchroom, when they have Billam-Smith, Sam Hyde and a few others available to fight.

I also went off him a bit, when he turned up to an Okolie fight (after he had already lost in that shames fight) mocking him with Pillow.

The Ted Bami thing didn’t show either of them in a good light also.

I do hope he can maybe turn things around though.

That makes sense. At this stage, Warren would be a decent fit. Eddie has his hands full.

    He is a talented fighter.

I thought he froze a bit in there against Okolie though. He could have done more but just kind of fought within himself.

Next time he is in a big fight he will learn from that.

I agree and I like what I have seen since he joined Angel Fernandez but just feel like he’s an inbetweener. Not big enough for cruiser and too big for light heavy.

I think a division at 190 would have suited him perfectly imo

Yeah agreed well said, but its not his fault at all because he is a solid 200 pounds.. very solid would be hard for him to cut imo but his frame just aint there for cruiser where there are many guys that could easily be heavies

Good move to sign with Mick as he will be his top fighter now on the Channel 5 cards. This also secures that relationship for the foreseeable future.

I can see Eggington signing with Mick as well full time and maybe one more British level fighter to pad out his stable.
