That shot would have dropped Tyson, Shavers power was awesome.

This looked less like Tillis having good defense/survival skills and more like the ref doing his damndest to keep shavers off of Tillis and disrupting the flow of action every 5 seconds.

Please don't shout at me for wandering slightly out of the frame. Also , I know that some of you get annoyed when this guy is continually mentioned but I reckon Jerry Quarry gets up or, more likely stays up.
Don't forget how he won that firefight with Earnie in 1973.

Tillis was a shell by the time Bruno stopped him. In his prime he was stopped by Thomas, Page and Witherspoon.

While on the downslide he took Tyson the distance in a competitive fight just 6 months before Tyson pole axed Berbick.

Now i have surely got you thinking how did Tyson not stop him.

To be fair he had trouble separating them, particularly just after Tillis got up. Tillis wanted to hold, hold, hold. He actually took a decent right straight after the resumption.

Likely Holyfield, V Klitschko and Ray Mercer, if floored, they would get up.

If you want to go way back, maybe Jeffries.

That punch would would finish 90% of the top ten ranked heavies in any era. Some take the count, others might get up but would be stopped shortly afterwards. The amount of time left in the round would be key,

Shavers would not make it to the 7th with most on the list, also i forgot how ineffective of a finisher Earnie is.
