uhhhh...yeah, not really the point. In this case Ring does speak for everyone because it’s kinda their belt. It matters, it’s a big deal, it’s historic, and not sure why this bothers you so much.

And is he the first non belt holder to be announced as the lineal champion in the ring by an MC and engage in lineal title fights with no actual belt on the line?

Agreed, sort of. I don’t really respect Fury’s lineage either. That said, I do agree with TBRB and the Ring that he can start a new lineage if he beats Wilder, and vice versa.

Who has Fury actually beaten? He's dining off his win over Klitschko but that's one fight! At no point has he been a dominant champion which further degrades his right to be the lineal champ.

He will be top dog if he beats Wilder but you can't say dominant really until he beats Joshua too.
