Between 2 master boxers @ WW or LMW, who do you favor in this chess match?

Might have to think hard on this one.

Great match up @Flo_Raiden , especially at 154. I still pick Rodriguez; he was such a class fighter with just as high ring IQ. I think his work under Wilfredo jab would bother him throughout.

Benitez was awesome in that bout, and that KO was great. Hope was a real solid champion, too, with good skills as a southpaw.

I do believe that Luis could mirror some of Hearns fight over Wilfredo and keep him at the end of his punches for most of the fight. Luis certainly had the speed, skill, and ring IQ to do this.

Luis by SD. Be one of his tougher fights, especially if Wilfred is tuned in.

I think its a bad style matchup for Benitez. Rodriguez was probably a bit too busy and mobile. It would have gone to a decision for sure but I think it would have been a boring one with Rodriguez on his bicycle pumping his jab and making Benitez come to him. Benitez liked to plant his feet wide and make guys lead and Rodriguez wouldnt have done that. It would be a stinker.

Rodriguez is a bad matchup for Benitez. Too much offensive activity while not being an easy target himself. Stamina and durability for days, too. Would still be a close decision.

Pretty much how I see it. It’s tough to see Benitez hurting Benitez or to see Rodriguez really having any incentive to have to hurt Benitez since he could move around and outwork him.
