    Round 1 Morales 10-9, close
    Round 2 Morales 10-9, close
    Round 3 Linares 10-8
Round 4 Linares wins by KO

Linares walking him down aggressively, landing hard jabs and following up with sharp flush rights, backs him to the ropes, lands hard accurate right on the button, drops Morales hard, he makes it back to his feet. The ref accurately waves it.

Jorge Linares... you bet your asses.

    Still sharp as a razor.

Glad to be wrong, Linares wasn't as shot as I thought he could be, sadly Ryan Garcia will probably be the man to end Linares' career, which is really going to infuriate me.

Linares the supposed ''non puncher'' whose former trainer said he personally witnessed him KO 32 or 33 of his sparring partners just blew through a teak-tough fighter who has never been stopped before with ease.

Crazy how much of a difference the move back down to 135 made physically, he looked massive against Morales whereas Cano bullied him at 140 just 5 pounds north

It wasn't the loss to Cano that freaked me out, that was understandable, he was far too small, it was his match against Al Toyogon. He looked quite bad. But hey, maybe he just didn't take that match all that seriously.

Linares should never have ventured up to 140 and fought a huge 140/147 pounder like Cano who could crack

Paulie on Cano's power who dropped him

'Malignaggi also said Broner (27-0, 22 KO) doesn't hit hard, and that he doesn't even hit as hard as Cano. Paulie said that as far as power punchers go that he's faced, there's Miguel Cotto and everyone else. But on the Broner/Cano comparison, Paulie said, "Not even close."

“I haven’t been hit this hard since I fought Miguel Cotto.”
