True, but if he does make it & they do got faith in him & I can see why.
Linares is dangerous as hell got experience but that chin plus Rye power I would have Garcia as favorite.

haney should be 1st because it would be easiest to make. But like I said likely they save him for last to sharpen the kid.

hell even Haney called it out in the interview.

 

Ryan's technique has improved a lot in the last year. He has much better control over his left hook, which is his best punch.
I wrote this post in November 2018, talking specifically about these improvements I wanted to see with the new trainer.

 

He is still improving and learning his strengths. If Oscar wants to make him a superstar he is gonna have to slow walk him and feed him a few vets that are on a down slope enough for Ryan to gain experience but not get beaten. Not many vets left like it was for the Broner/Garcia/Thurman generation. He is gonna have to line up to fight Loma along with Haney, fat Davis, and the slick Philly fighter coming to 135 Tevin Farmer. 135 has a load of talent but they are acting like those sissies at 147 and not fighting each other round robin style.

 

Interestingly Morales took Ryan Garcia to a MD.. & the likes of Machado, Gesta, Alvarado couldn't stop Morales either.. nice little statement by the old dog Linares last night..

 

Garcia is way better now than when they fought. It would be a different story now.

 

Linares looked better than I thought would. That guy has had such an up and down career. One moment he looks done getting blasted out in a fight he should have won the next people are talking about him possibly spoiling the hopes and dreams of some of the best young talent in the sport.

 

You can only hope......lol

 

Farmer is not in line to fight Lomachenko. Farmer just got his ass handed to him.

 

Way better? It was less than 18 months ago. He's been drinking Canelos jungle juice more like..

 

The biggest game changer for Garcia is Reynoso. Who coincidentally trains Martinez and Canelo both have tested positive but is within the the treshold. Rey Vargas in the list as well.And the Alejandro chick that is under Golden Boy promotion.
