Dillian Whyte made a 7 figure offer to Ruiz`s team for a fight but Ruiz has turned that offer down and will now face Ortiz, I feel it will be a good fight, but who will win and is it a significant bout?

Ortiz is an easier fight for Ruiz because he can only fight for 6-7 rounds until gasses out and drops his hands.

Whyte is a much tougher fight

Ortiz is far more skilled that Whyte is though.

    Far more skilled yes.

But the little matter of gasing after 6-7 rounds due to advanced age, means Ortiz is easy meat for a top HW who waits him out. Much like what Wilder did in the rematch actually.

This is a really good fight. I don't think there's any downside to Ortiz over Whyte. Ortiz looked a hell of a lot better against Wilder than Whyte did against Wach.

Whyte fans tend to ignore the Wach fight for obvious reasons...

That doesn't make him a better boxer. Dillian Whyte has achieved far more in his professional career than Luis Ortiz.

Luis Ortiz' amateur record is also overstated. He wasn't even good enough to get into the Cuban B team.

Dillian Whyte came in grossly overweight and took the fight on 2 weeks' notice, such was his confidence that he could still win the bout, and that he did.

    You're clutching at straws.

The question is in what shape will Ruiz show up and can he handle southpaws?

Very interesting fight I didn't really see coming.

Dare to explain in what exactly is more skilled? In terms of defense? In terms of speed? In terms of cardio ? In terms of power? In terms of how intelligent is in the ring ?
Ortiz is nothing special and if this fight with Ruiz happen, everyone will see that. Pretty sure that Ruiz will KO him.

Add poor punch resistance, compared to Whyte at least, and it's a significantly easier fight

Huge sigh...this fight ain't happening, mark my words. Both Ortiz and Ruiz will fight a couple of gatekeepers and bums and scream about getting another title shot. This is how most boxers do it nowadays unfortunately. One or both of them will say that "the money or contract wasn't right" and then go and fight a bum that they will look good against. That's why I respect AJ, he at least tries to make fights with the best guys out there. Even though guys like Wilder won't fight him for 120 million and unification.

No Wilder just caught him after distracting him with his left lead.
