Mesi was a lot better than McBride. Tyson didn't gaf about boxing by then and would've turned it up mid rounds. He was totally physically and mentally shot.
Fair enough but Mesi didn't have a chin that could withstand a good punch. Even a shot Tyson still had a good punch.
Tyson was still the best two round heavyweight fighter in the world even at the end. At that point, So long as a guy was big enough to smother him in the first two rounds though Tyson was very ordinary after that. I still stay it’s 50-50.
Mesi at times was so wide open to left hooks that it amazed me he didn't get stopped by the few decent fighters he faced. Even the long faded Tyson had one left hook in him and that's all it would take.
This would have been a sideshow attraction which only the most ghoulish would appreciate. Now, let's talk about Ali-Berbick 2....
