Yeah, I didn't get through too much of the Cobra themed one, did I? Crazy busy couple of weeks and then I got distracted by the Jofre-Harada fights at the weekend, which, let's face it... there are worse fights to get distracted by!
Thanks for the shout out @George Crowcroft - listened to the latest episode last night and finished it on the train into the office today. A few thoughts (improvements?) on the podcast: The KSI-Logan Paul debate was interesting but I think you were all pretty much in agreement from the start. There were a couple of angles that could have been worth discussing even if you didn't agree with them ultimately: 1. For people who don't follow the sport, do you think a fight like that could be a gateway to the real thing? If even 1% of the people watching started following boxing in more depth because they watched that fight, maybe the platform these guys had isn't completely wasted? 2. I think of them not as boxers but as self-promoters using boxing as a vehicle. In that way, are they really that much different from the past promoters who've used boxing as a cash cow? The difference here is that they are the ones getting in the ring whereas promoters don't usually do that. Perhaps that's worthy of some measure of respect? I don't necessarily agree with either of those points but they might have provided a different angle on the debate. Oh, and @The Undefeated Lachbuster - your mic was a lot quieter so wasn't easy to hear what you were saying a lot of the time. Anyway, good stuff - keep 'em coming!
Thank you so much for watching! And that's my fault, I forgot to check audio beforehand, sorry about that
@The Undefeated Lachbuster I didn't clock it when you said it, but Sergio Garcia is a really good up and comer at 154.
Be nice if you guys could get rid of Perry Como. Even as camp, you can do better than that! Other than that, it's nice to put some Forum names to voices!
Wellllllll it's Lach's podcast, and he's a Graziano fanboy soooooooooo (That's a no on getting rid of him)
