There is plenty of personal opinion in your above statement that can be countered. Here’s my attempt at consolidating a decent rebuttal. Wilder was brought into the sport almost a full generation post the optimal age. Most successful fighters have been training and building their boxing depth and dexterity around their pre-teens. This means while still developing as a young man boxing is being stitched in to the fabric of their athletic being. Wilder’s two stiffest opponents have come at a stage in which he is slowly peaking both mentally and yes even physically. Once fighters reach that pinnacle it’s easy to see the self belief oozing from their vessel. DW doesn’t have the eloquent gift of gab that Tyson does, however, at times he does say some profoundly heightened statements “now is not his time”. Wider truly feels he can manifest destiny, if he can settle down pick his spots in the rematch who’s to say he can’t control his fate.
Get ready this is going to be beautiful to watch there is a a sparkle in tysons eye for this He is going to school wilder even worse
no way.. Hagler and Hearns took each others punch that first round. Fury doesn't look like he can take Wilder's punch. I don't see it. Fury's fight is to move and counter and win the rounds and not get hit.
No way. Wilder could do better but a draw with elite fury and two wins over top contender Ortiz is pretty good. Got rid of mando DB in 45 seconds, just like how a mando should be handled. we have people like JCC snr who’s record is 90% certified cans, losing records etc.
Not really, let's be honest, the HW division sucks and has sucked for a long time. There's only 3 clear top HW's in boxing right now and Wilder is fighting 1 of them for a second time. He also defeated then reigning WBC HW champion Bermane Stiverne in which everyone and their mom picked him to lose by hilarious KO so that fight in itself defeats the purpose of your tomato can theory. If you're talking about strictly boxing records, there's been a multitude of HOF's and even ATG's who padded their records with bums, but Wilder is knocking all of them out at HW even at a world level, his title reign is already historical. There's been equal or worse 12 fight title reigns throughout boxing history, look at GGG's first 12 title fights for example. How is it any better than Wilder's, it really isn't.
GGG and wilder very comparable B rate wins, then life and death with A fighters or elite GGG- A - razor wins dev an Jacobs Elite - draw an loss canelo wilder A - Ortiz X 2 Elite - fury draw
If he doesn’t buy his boxing shorts online that are two sizes too big, get his sinus problem fixed and doesn’t dip or duck then yes, I think it should be straightforward
