Only Golovkin can be blamed for that. It's not Alvarez' problem that Golovkin finally started to make a name for himself when he was 35. Even then his biggest wins were all joke fights so they had to rush for a payday against Alvarez by literally forcing it through social media hype.

I mean it wasn't like totally obvious when the deck-stacking personality of a mannequin senior citizen bashing deformed ginger toad claimed he had no interest in facing GGG for a third time before that it was just a ruse for him to duck back into the chicken coop again and patiently bide his time waiting for GGG to age even more and accumulate even more damage, miles on the clock and grey hairs on his head so when he did eventually manage to summon the courage to pop his massive ginger Clenbuterol melon out of the coop a couple of years down the road his chances of actually scoring a legitimate win over GGG for the first time would be greatly increased because the later would be 38 y/o and even more declined by then if not borderline shot to bits

Last I checked he got a draw and lost in the rematch. There were also zero signs of his Mike Tyson-like power in both fights. That power only shines against hopeless opponents that were carefully picked to hit the canvas as soon as possible.

He won both fights, but like you said, the corruption in boxing is destroying the sport.

You must be Oscar's Alt account ROFL
There is a very good reason Canelo cant get anyone to fight him . Everyone is sick of seeing Gingers opponents getting the "Vegas advantages" Everyone knows it would take a miracle for him to lose in Vegas. He has Bob Bennett, the NSAC & Vegas boxing covering his ass
GGG challenged Ginger to a fight in MSG, The Mecca of Boxing in a 100% fair fight No NSAC or Vegas participation & no Vegas officials.
It was a chance for Ginger to prove he is really a man & give GGG a fair straight down the middle fight Because he has never done that to anyone in years. What did Ginger do??? Said NO!!!!!! Vegas or no fight
If Oscar offers him Vegas GGG should tell Oscar to sick the fight where they say he sticks his kitchen utensils

No he didn't. He got a draw and lost the rematch. There were zero signs of his "titansteel ultra x" power in both fights.

Some dum shits said Golovkin was shot the first time they met, since he was 35.
Which I strongly disagree with. He was fresh and likely in his prime coming off of a spectacular string of victories.

Second fight Golovkin was 36 and still looked like a beast.

And now he will be 38 soon, and I would bet that age is finally catching up with him.
Meanwhile Canelo is likely in his physical prime and is improving every fight as a boxer.

Sergiy did a number on Golovkin. I think it's time for GGG to adapt his style to his age.
