He won both fights, but like you said the corruption in boxing is destroying the sport

You believe the Vegas version I see or claim you do. EVERYONE that really loves the sport will tell you GGG got screwed TWICE by Vegas corruption & therefore Ginger is a FAKE not a real champion at all

Someone said Scar used to be a Mod on this forum. I find that hard to believe. But if it is true I'm certainly glad our present day Mods know their boxing. Scar doesnt seem to have a clue

    Exactly!!

Golovkin has been talking a big game since 2012 about fighting anyone, and fighting at 154, and fighting anyone at 168, but every single time someone at 154 or 168 called his bluff he either flat out rejected the challenge or ignored it.

Golovkin and HBO fooled his fans into making them think he was about legacy, when in reality legacy has never mattered to him based on his actions.

I don't even think GGG cares much about his fans, all he wants is that payday and will sell out to anything that pays money, like "Mexican style" or the corny ass phrase "Big drama show".. lol All B.S.

If I’m GGG & feel a particular kind of way about the decisions why not just pull a Hagler vs Hearns in fight 3?
    ALL OUT WAR!!

& if not at least pull a MARQUEZ vs Pacquiao 4!!
    Go for the KO FFS!!

nobody gives a crap about the previous 3 fights all they remember is “Ohhhhhhhhh......he not getting up Jim he not getting up!”

Hell GGG should have gone for KO in the 2nd fight for sure instead of boxing beautifully off the back foot in retreat.

it cost him in fight #2.

I know how losses are viewed in the US but I actually feel sorry for Canelo. He lost that first fight, everyone outside of those who make money from him and the fanboys know this. There's no shame in losing, especially to a good fighter like GGG. He made the distance, he had his moments, there would've been no shame in losing via some honest scorecards and indeed because of how the fight went there would've been massive interest for the rematch.

He would've gone into that second fight with the hopes of Mexico behind him and he would've had his honour as a fighting man. Instead that Byrd scorecard in particular just made him look like a product of a corrupt system. He's forever sullied, associated with corruption and graft.

Now, with GGG a pale shadow of the fighter he was they're trying to breathe fresh life into a third fight, but to what end? We know that Canelo doesn't get judged by the same rules that govern other boxers. He's a puppet, a boxer whose fights are won before the bell even sounds.

As I said, even with all his millions and achievements, I pity him.

Meh. I guess it's good for GGG in a cash out, but he's significantly declined now.

I thought it was Floyd who owned Vegas and the Nevada Athletic Commission or is it jointly owned with El Clenbuterol?
