Simple supply and demand. Anyone in the same position would be doing the same thing.

If you got 1 million people ready to buy a fight on PPV which sane person is going to turn that down.

Make that 4 PPVs in Canelo and BJS get it on.

I have doubts that would be PPV. A UK fight yes but 5am? BJS isn't that popular.

They’ll do it anyway cos it’s Canelo, the most commercially popular fighter on the planet and DAZN have shown they will do anything to recoup the massive outlay on signing the likes of Canelo. On a separate note, I don’t think DAZN have been good for boxing, particularly British boxing. They demonstrated a complete lack of respect for the sport in the way they delayed Canelo v Kovalev for a MMA fight. Their collaboration with Eddie Hearn has seen a significant slide in the quality of Saturday night cards over here as well.

A PPV over here doesn't get anything for DAZN. They would sell the fee rights but they wouldn't that much.

Do you not think Sky/Eddie would be all over that....the biggest fighter in the world against a world champ in BJS? They put Luke Campbell on against Loma on a ppv. I know it was prime time but neither are huge sellers in the U.K.

They decided not to pay the licence fee, got caught, were issued with letters from court and are now paying large fines and in one case appeared before a judge. Those are facts.
I presume when you say that you can't get caught if you're doing nothing wrong you mean either you watch programming only online or watch a traditional TV and pretend you don't. Well that's as may be but the facts are you spouting flat out untruths like this yesterday :

Potentially lulling some people into a false sense of security about not paying the licence fee to save a few pounds per week, well it just isn't true and I'm not talking about my personal experiences from people I know. A quick google search will reveal that the BBC are VERY active in enforcing the licence fee, don't know if these links will come through :

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-billions-led-one-10-magistrate-hearings.html

If not just google : UK how many people are paying licence fee fines

They could well tie them all up into 1 PPV.

One PPV night of Whyte vs Povetkin and Canelo vs BJS for £24.99

    Depends how the dates fall.

It is very simple, if you do not watch live TV as it is being broadcast then you do not need a license, the BBCs own website tells you this.

The people who are "Caught" are i suggest avoiding paying as apposed to being legit and not needing to pay.

Over 200.000 people have ended their license fee in the last two months alone speaks volumes.

Nobody needs it, it is out dated and people are waking up to how much of a stealth tax it is.
