    Duran

Benitez would definitely be a unified titlist in this era at WW. That's no knock on any current champ...........Benitez was really the de facto # 5 of the fab 4 IMO.

Wellllllll, I fell hook, line and sinker but in my defense Bruce is a guilty pleasure of mine and wouldn't actually have a prayer against Horn due to the (Lord forgive me) "era difference". By that I mean one being a natural 140lber in the same day weigh in era, compared to a weight bully who's naturally a 160lber in the day before weigh in era.

Carlos Palomino would clean up today though. :deal:

Is he the greatest Bruce pugilist of all time?

    I like Palomino's sexy moustache

Just a decent win against someone who in the future would give Hagler Hell and then go on to win a MW strap against Iran Barkley, the man who knocked the hell out of the only person to knock him cold?

    Decent win..............

Crawford and Spence have to do more before they are seen as competitive. We have not seen them in the ring with the guys Benitez fought Cervantes, Leonard, Duran and Hearns.

This sums this up H2H Crawford and Spence need to fight better boxers a lot of the time today the best don't fight the best.

Cervantes wasn't on a higher level h2h than Porter, Brook, and maybe Postol.

Benitez was almost losing every other fight in his prime (Weston, Bruce Curry, etc.). Crawford dominates everyone and is mean about it.

Benitez had an amzing chess match with Hearns at 154, Brook and Porter would have been destroyed by Hearns, Benitez evaded the jab far better than Brook can.
