So, final post of night on this.

Against Maidana, he weighed 148, Maidana weighed 165.

Against Canelo, he weighed 150, Alvarez weighed 165.

Against Ortiz, he weighed 150, Ortiz weighed 164.

Against Hatton, he weighed 148, Hatton weighed 152.

Against Judah, he weighed 146, Judah weighed 150.

Against Baldomir, he weighed 149, Baldomir weighed 162.

Against Mitchell, he weighed 148, Mitchell weighed 155.

Against Sosa, he weighed 140, Sosa weighed 145.

Against Corrales, he weighed 136, Corrales weighed 146

Against Castillo, he weighed 138 1/2, Castillo weighed 147 1/2

Against Bruseles, he weighed 142, Bruseles weighed 150.

Against Juuko, he weighed 136, Juuko weighed 140.

He was consistently the smaller man in his career.

If you don't like the guy or his achievements, then make the argument, but don't make up some nonsense.

Lmfao. You cannot be serious. How do you convince yourself it was a coincidence his power suddenly dissappeared after losing to Mosley then?

Loving how all of the posters bashing Floyd for being "bigger" than his opponent's are talking out of the other side of their mouth and propping up Margo as some great fighter when he not only was truly larger than everyone he fought but also put bricks in his gloves to win. You cant make this stuff up

Why is it wrong to think Margarito could have provided a challenge when even may said he didn't want none

15 pounds of weight, not pure muscle.

    Okay.

    We'll leave it.

If you watch his fights in slow motion you'll see that he was actually the bigger man in all of those fights.

Would it be interesting to speculate how a Floyd with loaded gloves would have done against an unloaded Margo?

Lesser fighters? What are you talking about pimp? You got no clue have you.

Floyd struggled with a come forward Mexican style. Always has.

Castillo 1 whooped him with, and made the blueprint for beating Mayweather.
Oscar nearly executed it but failed.
Maidana executed it but got robbed.

Prima margo only knows that style. Styles make fight and Floyd is perfect for him. Picture perfect. Roger is probably forced to throw the towel in after a sustained beating to save his nephew.

Where did you get these fight night weights?
I thought Floyd never/didn't want to disclose how much he weigh on fight night?

We respect this. But saying that he was smaller than Hatton, because Hatton weighed 4 pounds heavier is laughable.

You really need to change the word 'smaller' to 'lighter'.

There is no straw to grasp.

A guy like Ricky Hatton was not bigger than Floyd Maywesther based upon weighing an extra 4 pounds.

    Get real.

I disagree he wasnt naive at his heart canelo is a defensive counter puncher that's who he is. He was also full of confidence and felt his boxing ability and skills were superior to pbfs. He fought him to his strengths.

Yes the fight was a year apart but a year apart at his age can mean alot. He was already past it against canelo, he was even further past it against maidana. Maidana was willing to sell out against pbf because thats who he is and at that point in his career was a demanding style for pbf to go up against because his legs were almost gone a prime pbf would have handled maidana easier. With that said i can't take anything away from maidana he fought a hell of a fight that night and fought to his strengths.
