Caleb Plants Speed

Plant is quite fast. While I'm not sure I would place him on any P4P list (GRJ is still an absolute blur), he very likely has the quickest hands at 168.

 

He's fast for a plant.

 

also his dedication, focus, and drive. Anybody that thinks some cocaine cowboy partier is beating plant is gonna find out.

 

geez, youd think benevidez could get a better looking chick then that. Hoping thats is older sister or his mom but i doubt it.

Plant has surprisingly fast hands and is a pretty solid fighter. That said, Benavidez sparks his hillbilly ass in dramatic fashion. Benavidez is young and made a mistake. He family seems a little goofy and I’m not making excuses for him but people make mistakes. The guy can fight and I don’t think Plant can do more than win a round or two before he gets KOd. Maybe plant can stick around a little longer if he fights defensively and uses his movement. I just don’t think he has the gastank to do it for 12, while landing enough punches to get the W. Plant is flashy and can look good against lower level opposition. Smith and Benavidez both easily beat him.

I'm more impressed by Benavidez's hand speed than plants. His hands flash in combination. Not single counter shots.

Anyways, I slightly, slightly favor plant.

 

I agree about David making a mistake. No sense crucifying the kid. Nonetheless, neither Benavidez nor Smith beat Plant "easily." As a matter of fact, I think he beats Smith and is no worse than even money against Benavidez.

 

I enjoy his style and have watched all of Plants most recent fights. Hope you are right because it makes the division more interesting. I’m not sold on him but he’s slick and has a fan friendly style.
