Give an example of a fighter who had to learn to be a fighter, and a fighter who's a natural fighter.

For the former, I'd say Wlad. For the latter, I'd say Vitali.

Good example. I normally say Wlad was an athlete. Vitali was a fighter.

Natural someone fighter someone like Andre Ward..mayne not a first thoughts but type of fighter who didnt need a trainer in the corner.

Sergio Martinez took up the sport late. Had to come up with his own style to be a success but learned how to be a fighter

Floyd was born into a boxing family. There's pictures of him as a baby wearing gloves. He's 100% learned.

Pac randomly walked into a boxing gym with the intent of making some extra money to help out his family, not with dreams of becoming a prize fighter. He discovered that he could fight. He's natural.

Learned fighter: Canelo Alvarez, a true student of the sport. I've had my doubts about him, and a lot of his wins have an asterisk on them, but damned if he doesn't dedicate himself so fully to boxing. It's artful how much he's improved over the years.

Natural fighter: Gennady Golovkin, raised on the mean streets of war-torn Kazakhstan, tough as nails, heavy-handed to knock people out...naturally. Seems to actually enjoy the blood and guts of boxing (I don't buy the nice guy act). You can't help but admire that war spirit.

Of course, there's overlap between the two categories. Canelo is tough and naturally gifted, and GGG is technically so good. However, biting into the generalization, I opine below.

Other learned fighters, showing technical skill through dedication to the craft:
    Austin Trout
    James Toney
    Danny Garcia
    Mauricio Herrera (Danny's daddy)
    ODLH
    Anthony Joshua
    Terence Crawford
    Viktor Postol
    Oleksandr Usyk
    George Groves

Other natural fighters, where their natural ability shines through a lot. Or, where they were born to knock you tf out:
    Roy Jones Jr.
    Amir Khan
    Yuriorkis Gamboa
    Josesito Lopez
    David Lemieux
    Tony Bellew
    Carl Froch
    Erik Morales

Of course there are COUNTLESS others...

Then you have a perfect balance, imo, of raw toughness and boxing skill, like Fernando El Feroz Vargas.
