Just put a tenner on Fury for the stoppage. Love watching Wilder but he’s had that belt long enough now and with a 3 stone weight advantage and superior skills, this is his best chance to get that WBC belt.
Fury looks in powerful shape , less blubber more muscle. The fight just got even more interesting after the weigh in........
Fury looked solid to me and not worryingly flabby. Fury to get the job done tomorrow (if that cut doesn’t open up).
Longer fight goes on the more likely it will open again. Another reason for Fury to box on his chest and make it a dog fight at very close quarters.
Wilder looking every bit the professional athlete there, unlike Fury. That extra 14lbs of power will make all the difference, namely between Fury not being able to remember he was even in Vegas in a weeks time. You could hear the fear and apprehension in Barry Jones' voice. This content is protected
Why take the risk being the longer reached taller much better boxer tho. To get inside is gonna be a bigger risk surely. Be surprised anyone would give away the advantages of being the taller, longer reached, better boxer especially when the guy on the other side is a murderous puncher. He could win it doing exactly that....but seems like a bigger risk to me.
Everyone's talking as if Wilder was lucky to survive some sort of mauling last time out lmfao. Threadly reminder, Wilder was a CRUISERWEIGHT for their last fight. It's over boys, it's literally over. This is pure formality now, Fury may as well do a last-minute deal to offer sponsorship on the soles of his boots. Word on the street is that Paris is putting frantic calls in now to Fury's life insurance - double checking terms.
Wilder’s money shot is that right hand anywhere from mid range. We’ve seen punchers negated many times by intelligent fighters who can work on the inside. Fury should make it ugly tomorrow and try and bounce a big left hand on Wilder’s head again at close range.
Why is the best moving and feinting but pillow fisted Heavy coming in at 273 ? That does not make ANY sense......trading with Wilder , how so ... adding weight does not make you a harder puncher, far from it, young Foreman did not punch lighter than old fat Foreman....punchers are born not made. So pretty much a career high weight for his most important fight ? So instead of dodging and making his opponent miss he is now going to be catching while fighting aggressively ....makes no sense to me. Fury outboxed fighting negatively Wilder in their last outing but the moment he even remotely opened up he got put on his azz but now the added weight is going to help his chin ? That type of weight gain with a new trainer sounds like a recipe for disaster, maybe the rumors were true that his camp was a huge mess. Is this a repeat of AJ/Ruiz 2 where one guy forgot to be professional ? No way in hell is 273 Furys best fighting weight.................remember Dusseldorf Fury, yeah , was that 273 ? LOL.
To get into that short range you,ve got to get by that dangerous mid/long range tho. That to me,s a much bigger risk than fighting his usual game with the longer reach and being the much better boxer. I still think fury could get the job done that way....its possible. I just dont understand the reasoning in it. Your the taller fighter. The longer reached fighter. The better outside fighter. Cant understand how anyone would give them advantages up. Most of wilders success comes from being the longer reached fighter in most of his fights...he becomes half as dangerous without having that. Starting to think fury is injured. Or has had an injury. His weights not great imo.
