Fury got a debatable wide UD against Wallin, which probably should have been a draw, is damn lucky it wasn't stopped on that hideous cut and that he made it out of the 12th, he was rocked badly and in trouble, and make no mistakes, Otto is a featherfist. He's done all the sideshow BS with the WWE, his cut looks tender, he's changed trainers, has been contemplating retirement, bringing up how suicidal he is, which is troubling, there's rumors of bad ankles, wouldn't let people film his sparring, and there's rumors that he hasn't taken any headshots. Which if that's the case, it's probably not a great idea for first time you get hit in over a half a year, it's by one of the P4P biggest punchers in the history of Heavyweight. He looks fleshy, flabby and he's overweight. Sure he's with Sugar Hill and he's been working on sitting down on his punches, but in order to do that, he's going have to close the gap and get in close unscathed. Doing that when you're a 300 pound near 7 footer, ain't a walk in the park. Wilder will tag him anywhere he can land when he tries to do that. Yes, Fury is better inside, but Wilder isn't all that shabby on the inside either. Look at the Duhaupas, Arreola and Stiverne I matches for example. He deals with pressure quite well and is pretty handy with heavy thudding uppercuts and short hooks on the inside, he rolls with shots and clinches fairly effectively as well. So that tactic even if Fury can get in range, isn't a surefire plus for him. Also, how can we be sure a prolonged inside fight going to be beneficial for a sloppier fatter Fury who will be clashing heads with him incessantly?

Wilder's confidence was bolstered in the first fight when he realized that he could take Fury's power flush, it made him more brazen and reckless, made him willing to walk through anything just to land the KO shot. Not realizing he's playing into Fury's hands and Fury is racking up points, getting in free shots. But gradually, Wilder started figuring out Fury's timing and finding the proper range late in the first fight, and as shown both times in Wilder's rematches, he's the one who learns from and makes adjustments, however subtle they may be. Wilder won't have butterflies like he did the first time, he won't be pressing the fight, he'll just be sitting back looking for an opening, wait for Fury to slip up and make a mistake and when he does, he'll find that opening, the laser guided missile will hit it's mark, down goes Fury, he's not getting up Jim, you're right, he's been knocked out..... it's over.

    What’s everyone’s opinion on this?

$28m each guy guaranteed with PPV upside but I’m hearing it has to hit 500k buys on each platform and 1m buys in total to see that PPV upside money as that’s the break even point after purse splits.

with rumours AJ got $85m for the Ruiz rematch and $115m for both fights are Wilder and Fury getting a raw deal? And if it’s a good deal what should the purses be for the eventual AJ fight given the purses they are currently earning and the 3 belts to 1 scenario.

Not inciting any hate. Just intrigued by people’s opinions given the numbers I can see AJ and Matchrooms point about 60/40 being fair and the fight should be on DAZN given the PPV buys boxing is currently generating and the lower guarantees.

Wilder was supposedly offered $40m guaranteed by DAZN for the AJ fight which is even more than he’s getting for Fury.

We know that there is diminishing returns on size. The higher you go in weight class the less 1 single pound means in terms of any advantage. At some point you know there has got to be a limit on body size and how much weight is an advantage in the ring. At 6'9" 270 plus pounds is Fury pushing things too far? That's my thought.

We know that drugs change things. No way we would see a bunch of natural (just eating food) superheavies dominating boxing like we have since the 90s without all the PED's present in boxing. This isn't even a typical, he's only good cuz of roids post. Almost everybody is taking drugs.

But even though drugs increase the potential of human performance at some point even with drugs there has got to be a point where size becomes a disadvantage in the ring.

We never saw massive guys dominating HW in the past because there wasn't the same access to steroids.

just can't Milk Americans for huge PPV $$$ like you can the Brits who'd pay big $$$ to watch Joshua try on underwear or fight guys from a Homeless Shelter!! 90% of Americans won't even know who these guys are if they accidentally see them while flipping through channels and definitely wouldn't know who Joshua was other than he looks like the guy who got KTFO by some fat guy that was all over the news!!

He doesn't need to be neutral on a fight to be a mod!

Actually, just about everything in his post I agree with, except this:
And I hope he's proven wrong!
