Looks it will be a repeat of AJ Ruiz 2. Fury is coming with extra weight.

    i do. too.
no one with a 59% ko ratio (acc. to boxrec) is a "featherfist".

but i agree with the rest of CST80´s assessment. fury went life and death with otto wallin, who had no names on his record and was untested by then.

Man, I hate to agree with you as much as I do, but all of your points are rock solid. I had been leaning towards Fury by UD since the first fight (which I had Fury winning by wide UD). I speculated that Fury’s wild claims going into this fight were just standard BS, designed to promote the fight and convince casuals to fork over the PPV cash. I expected Fury to come into this fight in the best shape of his life, lighter and sharper, more disciplined and focused. I expected Fury to put on a textbook display of the sweet science and to give Wilder a boxing lesson, before getting his arm raised. That is no longer the case.

It appears Fury is serious about trying to KO the bigger puncher. This will go down as one of the dumbest decisions in boxing history. If Fury seriously takes this route, he will be giving away all of his advantages (and he has so many) as a boxer and willingly fighting Wilder’s fight. If this is in fact the case, it will not end well for Fury. It will go down as a short-sides arrogant decision and end in a brutal (KO!) for the big man. The extra weight will only slow Fury down and restrict his movement. It will also fatigue him faster and increase the chances of wilder ending the fight with a big punch. All that weight is going to make those sore ankles struggle to keep him upright and to get up if he’s knocked down.

Fury’s best path to victory was to come in light and in shape. To use his superior size and boxing ability frustrate and out box Wilder. Fury, at his best, easily beats any version of Wilder. A fat, heavy Fury, trying to slug it out with the biggest puncher in the game only has one likely ending and it doesn’t include Fury finishing the fight with his eyes open/conscious.

I believe Fury is serious about trying to KO Wilder and that I overestimated Fury’s intelligence. If Fury takes this route, he doesn’t hear the bell for the fifth round.

Disgusting, this guy is a pro boxer?
273 is same weight as his Seferi fight, basically Fury made no progress since his 'comeback'.

We could also see some bloke chase his opponent like a bulldozer and then get pie all over his face when a big straight right lands flush on the nose.

There is actual video of his gut. Fury is in worst shape for this fight than his first. His best shot of winning is sticking and moving for 12 rnds. You can't look like that and keep Wilder of you for 12 rnds.

Red flags. Wilder is two pounds heavier than he was for Molina. Three pounds heavier than he was for Duhaupas. Three pounds heavier than he was for Szpilka. Four pounds heavier than he was for Arreola.

    You know that, right?

For his first fight with Fury, Wilder was his lightest weight SINCE HIS PRO DEBUT 12 years ago.

    Did you know that?

That was FAR TOO LIGHT. Did you expect him to weigh 212 again, so Tyson Fury would have a 61 POUND weight advantage tonight, instead of a 40-POUND weight advantage?

Jesus Christ, if Wilder isn't giving up close to a 100 goddamn pounds to an opponent, he must be cheating. Is that it?

    To hell with that.

If you had been paying any attention IN THE SLIGHTEST you'd know he spent all of 2018 in the gym waiting to see if he was fighting his mando with Breazeale (which was supposed to be in the summer), then talks with Hearn took place and it looked like the Joshua fight might happen, then Fury came back and then talks with Fury began, but he needed tuneups ... so Wilder trained and trained and trained ... and was on the shelf for 10 months training for fights that didn't happen until he got Fury in December.

And he entered the ring EMACIATED.

But you don't pay attention. You don't see he weighs only a handful of pounds more than most of his title defenses.

You just take the SECOND LIGHTEST weight of his career ... and then say look how much weight he's put on. RED FLAG. RED FLAG.

Anything to smear a guy in case he should happen to overcome a 40-pound weight disadvantage and WIN the World Heavyweight Championship tonight.

    Utter Garbage.

If three-month turnarounds help Wilder keep the weight on, I'm all for it.

I hope he fights again in three months, and he comes in weighing 235 or 236. He'd still be the lightest guy out there.

He's in his mid 30s. He shouldn't weigh what he did when he was 22.

With a gut and love handle like that, it tells me he didn't train properly. Even if his rumored cut or ankle injury were true you can still do upper body cardio. Or how about staying in decent shape between fight.

I like both guys and I was just hopping for a good fight tonight. Don't think this one will go 12.

No you haven't tbf, you have a soft spot for him, that soft spot is developed out of sympathy. Your right until now, but its opposition related I feel, I mean we are talking about always finding a way to win against low level opponents aren't we ??? Says it all

I believe this is what they are up to. Sugar is going to turn him into a jabngrab guy, like Manny did with Lewis and Wladdy. He will use the jab to get inside Wilder's range, and then, grab and lean. That extra weight will have Wilder gassed by the end of the third.

He may very well sett down on a punch or two a little more if he sees an opening. He visibly hurt Wilder the first time, and, as the superior technician, he can get away with it. But its not going to be the main strategy.
