I don't like Shields as a person but she woulda walked through a prime LA nevermind a 42 year old LA but I'd still watch it hoping that Ali throws a miracle punch and KO's T-Rex and then shortly after Katie Taylor fights Cecilia Braekhus but just like GGG-Canelo was in Mayweather Mcgregor's shadow this will also be overlooked by the casuals
I wouldnt want to see this fight. Laila Ali, regardless of her actual skill level, has way too much class to be getting involved with anything to do with Shields. She's also been retired for 13 years now. I dont care how fit she has kept herself, 13 years retirement is way too much ring rust to clean off Its just Class vs Trash
Really? She did beat the crap out of that girl that KOed Wolfe in their first meeting. Wolfe lost via KO one time and won the rematch "only" on the cards. I dont know the name of that woman (not Garfield but something like Manfield or something like that), but because of the fact that girl KOed Wolfe but was KOed by Ali, i always thought Ali would beat Wolfe prime for prime. EDIT: The name of that girl is VALERIE MAHFOOD, she fought Ali 2 times and Wolfe 3 times. Results: 1 KO win and 2 UD losses to Wolfe 2 KO losses to Ali Wolfe was unable to KO Mahfood in 3 fights, Ali fought her 2 times and KOed her 2 times. Alis KO power is underrated, even if Wolfe had this devastating bomb almost like Wilder (remember Vonda Ward), her boxing skills was never on the same level as Ali.
Anne wolf would have knocked out laila Ali cold. Ali ran away from wolf and her only notable win was against a severely undersized Christy Martin. Laila ali only got attention because of her name.
