I think that was intentional. He probably knows that the cut will reopen in the long run and is going all-out, either KO or get KO'd early.
He was higher against Abell in 2014, not sure if he got higher prior to that. I think this might be his strategy. He knows the cut will reopen in the long run and is trying to score a KO early or get KO'd.
He looks good there but that video was posted on the 10th of December 2019 and IIRC he hadn't even hooked up with Sugar Hill then. The only piece of footage I've seen of him hitting the pads, the bag, moving around the ring or any training footage for that matter in months is those few seconds of him skipping. Strange.
To wear him down and sap away some of that power. I dont think it'll tire him after just 3 rounds but that is something that could be an issue in the later rounds. All this talk about Fury going for the knockout I dont believe unless hes using the extra weight like the op said to wear down DW and then go for the KO late which would be pretty epic tbh.
I think he's going to box from the outside for the majority of the fight like in the first fight. The adjustment he will make is when Wilder does over commit and get wild, he'll come in low, as Wilder doesn't throw the uppercut unless going for the finish and then unload with over hand rights and left hooks and then maul and fight dirty on the inside, make it far more physical to wear Wilder down. The ref will eventually break them up, then Fury goes back to his boxing until Wilder gives him another opportunity to step in and bang away.
PED`s just give you quicker recovery while weight training so you can put on more muscle it doesn`t improve your fundamentals.
I can weigh as little as 195 first thing in the morning and 201 at night. I'm just an average Joe Big humans like Wilder and Fury could have even bigger discrepancies. Who knows, it doesn't have to mean it's muscle or fat, could be just a lot of fluid.
Hmm.. Wilder is in a great shape, but can he go 12 with all that bulk? Both of them are so big the fight will be over before round 10.
