He did make excuses, but he also was serious about going out on his shield. I'm glad they didn't let him do it.

Wilder was completely done. And he was done from round 4. Even his lucky punch right hand did not look to be an option, he looked gas and did not look to have any power left in that right hand for the first time in his career. Fury completely ****ed him with his body work, jabs, clinching and drained him by round 4

Ah.. the 'lets pick apart what a concussed and exhausted warrior whose bleeding from the ear says minutes after getting stopped' thread. Didnt take long.

Only thing I can say is I applaud his heart. Seriously looked like he wanted to die by the sword tonight.

Wilder is no doubt tough as nails but he made a lot of excuses for this first fight in the same manner. He's pretty deluded to say the least.

Hes in good company. Plenty of champions are deluded and also not good at losing.

I just watched an awesome fight where Tyson fought like a savage marauder and looked like the man to beat again, in an exciting beatdown of a Wilder who was willing to give the fans all they wanted of his execution.

What is said in the interview afterwards is miniscule in comparison.

Boxing fans just look for anything to ***** about.

He did look gassed even before the fight started. Then when he started getting hit he slowed down quickly. When he says his leg was wrecked, what leg was wrecked and how was it wrecked? Irony since reports before the fight was that it was Fury who confirmed he had injuries to both his ankles.

Im excited but I doubt Fury will make any more big waves in the division unless the Joshua fight comes through.

Unfortunately you may be right. Sucks. Heres to hoping that fight happens. Imo it needs to happen to solidify this era.
