Fury created the grapplefest by stepping in but if anyone calls that fight dirty, you must dismiss Wlad Klit's complete Emmanuel Steward career and after, because hugging is all Klit ever did, and it was protection for his chin. Fury did this tonight and Wilder never seemed to be able to get into the fight. That being said, a lot of his fights play out in a similar way until he lands the big right.

As I was told once whilst learning self defence / martial arts, you need to step forward to close the distance. This seems counter intuitive but it is correct.

It was an interesting fight but Deontay's gaps were glaringly exposed. AJ may even grow a set of testicles big enough to get him in the ring with Wilder, although AJ prefers an outside game.

For a guy his size, Fury does have the skills and movement to beat anyone at this point. He's like Kareem Abdul Jabar, a big centre with the skills of a guard. AJ won't be able to knock him out, he will toy with the lard lad, and he will have a significant reach advantage over his greatest threat - Usyk.

After this fight, I feel Usyk will be able to clean up all HWs bar Fury so that fight may be one to watch out for down the line.

There are different reasons for ruptured eardrums. If you have an ear infection then it is more likely you will have fluid drain when it ruptures. This is what happened with my son. However, when I was hit and my eardrum was ruptured there was no fluid or blood that drained from the ear. The only way I knew it was ruptured was because I could literally blow air out of my ear. It healed on its own and I never had any other problems with it.

In the first round. Fury had Wilder wobbling all over the place from a jab. This was before any right hand was landed or the knockdown in the 2nd...

So the LDBC cant blame this on a rabbit punch or a knock down that Wilder couldnt recover from. He was being hurt early doors and wobbled early doors.

I think it's too late for that though. He just doesn't have the technical skills to reinvent himself with high level footwork. I think what he can work on though is defense, covering up more and defending himself better to not get caught with big shots like that which slow him down. If he would have covered up with a tighter guard he wouldn't have been hurt by those sneaky right hands that Tyson got in.

Certainly not. He deserves full credit for busting it and taking advantage.

But let's step back and look at this, Fury popped his eardrum, most likely concussed him and busted his lip, then this 7 foot tall behemoth tees off on badly compromised stationary target who couldn't hardly walk or stand up straight for another 4 rounds straight, and still couldn't legit KO him. That's kind of funny.

Regardless, I hope he goes over to the UK as soon as possible and mangles AJ after this, and in quicker time than he did Wilder, because AJ doesn't have Wilder's heart. After all, most of the Wilder bashers are AJ fanboys, that will be quite sweet revenge by proxy.:sisi1

The eardrum is a membrane it has no fluid. Your equilibrium is controlled by the vestibular apparatus.

that still pisses me off to this day fury completely bottled it I think Fury was worried that wlad would come out swinging like he did to joshua because when Wlad went for it in the 12th he had fury backpedaling and looking troubled.

Andre Ward was p4p number 1, his fights haven't entertained me as much as those of Fury and Wilder.

Mayweather was p4p number 1,his fights haven't entertained me as much neither.

Rigo is one of the most skilled fighters in history, again I'd rather watch the two Wilder Fury fights than any of Rigos.

I've seen an awful lot of fighters and even more fights, the majority of whom you've probably never heard of as they're from times past. Boxing is so much more than just skills, there's the drama, the intrigue, the narrative, the status.

Right now I've just watched the two top ranked fighters in the Premier weight class fight to a knockout.

I couldn't be any further from disappointed right now.

I doubt you have watched, or been to anywhere near the number of fights I have watched. I don't care what the rankings are once the top contenders are bereft of skill or conditioning. And, the heavyweight division has been in the toilet for years.
