Wilder Ring Entrance Attire Excuse

The thought certainly crossed my mind that the outfit was not only heavy but very tight. Must have been hard to breathe in there. It seemed like he needed a bomb squad (no pun intended) to untie the mask then to untie the heavy body armor. When he got out of that suit he took a deep breath and looked drenched in sweat. A ridiculous sounding excuse for sure but that outfit had to weigh a ton!

 

That actually beats the "wrong socks" and "pinky toe" excuses

 

Makes me feel bad for all the 16th century knights.

 

Before the fight he said everything was all perfect for him and he is in the best shape of his life, right after the fight he suddenly start with excuses, as so much things went wrong before the fight, injury and blq, blq, blq .... Absolutely pathetic.
Just as Andy Ruiz excuses, after Joshua 12-0 him.
Thats why i like Joshua, the guy didn`t make a single excuse, he said he was beaten by a better fighter that night, took his lost, improved and get back his titles. This is a man that deserve respect.

 

Agree Joshua was a class act after that loss. Didn't make a single excuse, didn't even complain about the stoppage which he could have. But in fairness Wilder didn't really make any big excuses either. He said there were complications, but that's not him really using an excuse as the reason why he lost, and it's not like Wilder himself made an excuse of the ring attire, that's a member of his team.

 

and i got drenched and almost knocked off me bike in the gales, i still made it to work and put in a good shift. my coat was heavier then deontays body armour.

 

His legs were gone because Fury busted his eardrum and screwed up his balance centre. Probably concussed him to boot.

But yes, the enormously heavy gimp outfit and all the useless steroid muscle weighing him down were probably the real culprits.

 

Okay, let's start documenting these excuses from Wilder, his team and the 'fans':

The ring walk attire was too heavy
I had trouble in training camp, many different things leading up to this fight
I have a leg that was already busted
Something was off with Wilder tonight, he was paid to take a dive
But, it was an illegal punch behind the head. If he didn't get a bust eardrum, he would have KO'd Fury
