To reiterate: please no rematch. For the sake of Wilder's safety he can't be allowed back in the ring with Fury.

    Joshua v Fury

The alleged burst ear drum, just rewatched the fight and the ref was also garbage, missed the third knockdown where the ropes kept Wilder up.

We've had the issues behind the scenes of a camp that we were previously told were great, towel came in too early and heavy ring walk attire as actual excuses now.

I can't see any real case for the rematch, save for money. It was not in the least bit close. Total domination from Fury. I had picked Wilder, and while I agree something looked off with him from the start (holding left arm in strange position) this was a fantastic masterclass from Fury. Aggression and great skill, a real quality win under huge pressure and career defining moment. I thought Tyson was bordering on 'shot' and thought (still think actually) that his freakish body type will eventually age overnight, unless he gets out. But for the billionth time I was completely wrong. Well done, Tyson!

I give Tyson Fury credit for at least fighting the best he has fought. But, it was hardly an ATG performance. He was only landiing about 12 punches per round, primarily jabs. Wilder was simply exposed for the one-dimensional, fragile slugger he always was. He has a very low ring IQ, and showed with his poor punvh output against an enormous target (threw less than 20 punches per round) that he was basically a media creation to filll the United States apparently desperate need for a dominant heavyweight. The better man won last night. But, I was not that impressed.

    Round 1 - Fury 10-9
    Round 2 - Fury 10-9
    Round 3 - Fury 10-8
    Round 4 - Fury 10-9
    Round 5 - Fury 9-8
    Round 6 - Fury 10-9
    Round 7 - TKO

AMAZING performance by Tyson Fury. He completely neutralized everything Deontay did and beat him from pillar to post. Fury didn't simply come to win the belt, he came to TAKE away the belt.

But regardless, I'm very ****ing pissed off that Wilder lost.

He'd been watching footage of Eddie Cotton in the Lewis vs Tyson fight, and decided to pay homage. :sisi1

No point in a rematch now. Fury will employ the same tactics which will result in the same outcome, even if Kenny Bayless is the referee again and tries to help Wilder out at every turn.

Let this win serve as a Leshun to those who doubted him.

He didn't look any worse than he did against Ortiz last time out.

    Guru Barry

@Bronzebomber vs @gypsyking101 came down to who had great FUNdamental reps in the gym and in the film room. Fury fought how he always fights with a higher punch count. Wilder base was not good, at all. Wilder put himself in bad positions repeatedly simply by not having great reps in the gym & studying film. The 1st clip is a point of emphasis in Deontay's development when he was preparing to fight Stiverne. The emphasis was not breaking your base going backwards to ensure he always able to see, have balance, defend, and counter fight if possible. Wilder's base was not very good today and that destroyed his confidence because he couldn't do anything offensive, defensive, or even walk. The good news is, that can all be fixed in the gym and in the film room. The last clip is intent. Deontay just had a really bad base tonight.

I agree with Guru Barry, I noticed Wilder`s balance was bad early on, he looked all over the place.
