Say Wilder was to say "**** it, I could healthily walk around 205 and cut for cruiserweight anytime I want and now is the time", does he dominate that division? I think he likely does now Usyk and Gassiev have left it.

Could Dorticos, Breidis or Glowacki take his right hand? Would they be able to bully him ike a 270lb Fury? I think not.

Is it? The one guy who could beat him there is now fighting at heavyweight. He could dominate that division.

He'd get Paul Williamsed at CW. Briedis would make him stare wild-eyed at the canvas after he's felled like a tree but a clean right hand.

I think Breidis is mad overrated on these boards. He's a solid fighter but I think Wilder takes his head off.

No. In the ams he got knocked out by cruiserweights. Also he's 35 now, he'd need to stop taking any roids to slim down to cruiserweight, and without roids, he'd have no speed nor power. And his chin would be even glassier...

    Actually think he could.

Far more money at HW though.

    He could make 200.

No. Even if he made 200 safely, he'd lose to the best CWs. Especially after cutting so much weight.

Cruiserweights want to move up to heavyweight, it's never the other way around.

It was a hypothetical question more than an expected route.

The money is at heavyweight and he still has intriguing options there. After 19 rounds with Fury I don't think we need to see that fight again at least not right away but Wilder vs Big Baby Miller or Ruiz or even Uysk would be interesting.

Why, when he can still knock out any Top 10 heavyweight in the world with a single punch?

Get real. He can still earn tens of millions.

In the cruisers he will earn peanuts.

Might get Tony Belles out of retirement! He always fancied taking Wilder out!

He is too old. He is mid 30s. Going down in weight will make him a punching bag.

Wilder wont be the same at Cruiserweight, he’d get beat up bad. Losing so much will reduce his power, he will lose speed due to being drained, the man will just be another windmilling bum.
