Arguably, he's the best Heavyweight of his generation, and the best Heavyweight since Lennox Lewis. I've always been the opinion that the version of Joshua - specifically pre-Ruiz II - is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! Most people go on the back-foot when they don't possess too much power - usually, but AJ can now do both! Every fighter has to be mindful of that now. As he could switch from the back-foot, to marching you down with the right-hand. But now Fury has to be put in the same equation - but it's not too much of a surprise given that he's always been a knockout artist - but somewhat changed after his first meeting with John McDermott. My question still stands: who beats Fury? Can someone beat Fury? We know he has had trouble with smaller Heavyweights in the past - more so those who are nimble and fleet of foot, so I'd say perhaps Usyk could be the man to beat him (potentially) or could it be a Heavyweight we don't know of? Who's outside the current radar? I mean technically Wallin should have beat Fury, so this'll be VERY interesting!
Exposed? He was an undisputed cruiserweight champion, beating Briedis, Gassiev and Bellew..AND all 3 IN A ROW! You can't say Usyk is going to be 'exposed'. The question is not whether he has the talent to beat these heavyweights, but instead whether he can do it without the size that the big 3 have.
Usyk presents different problems as a smaller heavyweight. Fury always says Cunningham was his hardest fight.
Tyson Fury I said it many times he is his own biggest threat if he loses focus and doesn't take the sport seriously then the others have a chance and even then he would still win
Joshua probably the only one who has a chance tbh! It's the only fight that matters now too! Whyte would fancy it too and can last longer than Wilder did as he has a way better chin!!
I don't know. I saw Tyson Fury take a full force uppercut from Tyson Fury, and Tyson Fury barely even blinked.
Uysk would be a very interesting fight. He is a phenomenal boxer but man that size and skill of Fury would be a tall order. As much as I love watching Uysk fight, I would definitely favor the Gypsy King. For historical purposes, I would live to see that fight happen.
LOL The problem there was Tyson fury didn’t follow up and finish Tyson fury off But seriously I don’t see anyone beating fury Joshua would be the only threat and I don’t think even Joshua would stand better than a 30% chance
As furys brother said the only one that can beat fury is himself. Aj cant do both. He can either pick one or the other. Fury can do both...box or fight. Joshua can only do both with a specific training camp aimed at either one of them....fluctuating his weight etc. Come in light to run/box. Come in heavier to fight. Thats the difference. Still be a good fight. Wilder didnt have the frame to deal with furys bulldozing. Joshua does tho. He needs to forget about boxing with fury tho...its a none starter. For me he has to come in heavier against fury. The ruiz 2 tactics wont be near good enough.
