The one fighter on the planet that Fury keeps out of his mouth: Oleksandr Usyk

Fury did an interview last year where he ranked all the top heavies. He rated Usyk highly and predicted that Usyk will be HW champ in 3-5 years but he want interested in fighting him until he held a belt

Usyk is a boxer. Tyson is a horrible match up for him.

He has huge money fights with Joshua, Wilder 3 and even Whyte on the table.

Why on earth would he care about Usyk?

 

Well, yeah...

 

The only person getting dragged into a trilogy fight, in my opinion, will be Wilder by Haymon, for the purpose of cashing Wilder out.

Dragged like a lamb to the slaughter.

 

He's a former cruiserweight that is all risk and no reward at the moment. If Fury beat him now then he's 'too small and had no business fighting at heavyweight'.

Unfortunately for Usyk largely down to injuries he hasn't got his heavyweight career up and running quick enough. He needed to have made a statement by now for everyone to be seeing him as a real threat and at the moment people don't because he hasn't.

 

Fury is probably the worst possible match-up for Usyk in the entire world.

 

i give usyk a better shot against joshua or wilder idk about fury .

fury proved alot to me last night he can box when he wants and he can brawl when he wants .

while usyk was very skillful and beat joyce very convincing i do not know if he can do that to fury

Usyk needs to prove his relevance at heavyweight first There's just far too big a gap between cruiserweight and today's superheavyweights.

 

This, basically. I would rate Usyk higher than Fury P4P based on his Cruiserweight record, but at heavyweight he hasn't proved himself. Yet.
