In my opinion Fury proved that he is a world class fighter and he put things in perspective when he embarrassed Wilder. If he keeps fighting top 10 boxers he will create a great legacy. For the first time Wilder fought a legit top 10 fighter, who is under 55 years old (if you don't count Stevern, who got WBC because Vitaly retired) and he looked like a clueless bum. Almost like Seth Mitchell vs Banks.
Problem with the insanity is you never know when he might go over the edge again but Mad Respect to the ALL MIGHTY GYPSY KING
more than respect i fear the man now i had no idea he was capable of giving such a beating to KO artist . im hoping usyk can challenge him. because i do not know if AJ can
In already had massive respect for Fury, albeit not a fan of his drugs cheating and retroactive ban. I respect him more now.
Fury won the WBC belt that gets my respect whoever does it, Fury did so by executing succesfully a plan which many thought was unwise and likely to fail, Fury proved doubters wrong and exposed Wilder so that does enhance my respect for his acheivement.
Was an atg display that will last long in the memory. Nothing not to like. Surely the question should be, did you gain MORE respect.
He won my respect when he became the first guy to dethrone Klitschko in a decade, in Germany no less.
No, Fury didn't expose Wilder, Everyone with functioning eye sockets has seen the flaws of Wilder, it was in plain sight . I posted years ago about how bad his footwork , balance and clumsiness throwing punches were and how somebody's gonna torch him. Well the years came and went and he got by with it and I thought ,well maybe he's better than I know. NOT! What's stunning is how long it took, due to careful match making and a weak division.
