Fury has to beat Joshua to be the king of the division. And vice versa.

Do you remember the Vitali-Chisora post fight when Haye told Chisora "You lost to tyson fury" as an insult?
'You lost three times in a row, you lost to Tyson Fury!!"

Beating Klitschko made him 'the man' & Wilder was the cherry on top. I picked Fury to beat Wilder both times but I must admit he exceeded my expectations last night.. I like most have given Wilder **** & rightly so.. but regardless of his limitations he's a freak generational talent POWER wise.. undeniable that.. & Fury murked him to claim the WBC & ring belt (one of only 3 HWs in history I believe to RECLAIM the belt).. Is Wilder shyte? Yes. Fury showed his calibre versus an ATG already though.. an ageing one admittedly but still a great win IMO

That's when british fans jumped on the Fury bandwagon, before that they used to make fun of the big fat goof and pinned all their hopes on bodybuilder Joshua.

Wilders talent, heart, speed and power are impressive and certainly not bum level. I think his training attitude and "team" have let him and his career down. Ultimately let America down, if he was actually mentored and trained right he couldve been litterally a beast!

I hope he comes back and finishes his career on a high however; he doesn't beat Fury.

Fury is the best of this generation no doubt. Would give Lewis a run for his money too, I say that as an AJ and a LL fan...

Yeah nah I don't see it. Fury beat decisively beat Klitschko while Klitschko was on a huge huge run of success, and has now beaten Wilder who was also on a huge unbeaten run and now had some very credible wins on his resume. Whoever was the first to beat Wilder, Fury or AJ I feel had a legit claim to being the top dog - and Fury did it in decisive style. AJ may be good enough, but Fury is THE man to beat, so to become the man he kinda has to beat the man.

Tyson Fury already secured his ATG status by going 1-1-0 vs Deontay Wilder, all blemishes due to Tyson Fury, very few Heavyweights will have a formidable undefeated reigning champion in his prime. Not just any ATG Heavyweight Deontay Wilder is the closest living human to the hypothesized Pugilistic Ubermensch
    • Highest KO Ratio of any Heavyweight champion
    • Equaled Muhammad Ali longest consecutive title defenses
    • Still in his peak & improving (meaning status will only increase)
Its very risky to take on big threats, but its worth it. Cautious boxers lose big on this ATG top facet by focusing a lot on the risk of losing

David Haye had a broken toe that was bruised and swollen. He was unable to fire power punches off and had poor balance as a result. David haye never had these balance problem in his previous fights. Everyone laughed at him

Wilder had a cut in his ear. The doctors and his trainer are saying that he had no ruptured eardrum. People blamed this cut for his poor balance despite that fact that Wilder has tripped over his own feet in many of his past fights. It's being used as a legitimate reason for not being able to fight back.

Looks like a big double standard to me.

This win was his best win. Fury won 10 rounds to 2 in the first, won by KO in the rematch! Fury trained the best way he could. He kept the judges out of the fight!

Fury said he was going to take it to Wilder. He also said he didnt want it to go to the judges.

Fury called Wilder a bum and thats what he made him look like and his convincing win of the former champ.

I feel sorry for Wilder but you win some, you lose some.

Fury needs to beat AJ to become undisputed king.

Fury is the king of heavyweights and he holds a lot of advantages. Not only does he have size and a superior reach to nearly every other heavyweight - but he moves better and has a higher boxing IQ. No surprise Fury is doing what he is doing. Great effort to get the KO though. If he continues to add this approach to his skill set then he is going to be extremely hard to beat. AJ matches up against Fury better than Wilder did IMO, but Fury will still have multiple ways to defeat AJ. Not sure anyone gets near Fury. He may retire undefeated.

Your boxing hero just got his **** pushed in and absolutely dominated by a guy who got taken the distance by Wallin (Who?) and you still have the temerity to compare Wilder to Ali. Put the crack pipe down and just admit that you and your like massively overrated Wilder and massively under estimated Fury.

Once again, blinded by the power when anyone with half a brain knows that throughout history, the elite boxer very nearly always defeats the elite puncher. Yes, Wilder is an ELITE puncher but has barely average for world level, boxing fundamentals.
