that was a long 10 count...why didn't the ref call it?

Jack Reiss conducted the count just like he has in numerous fights before that. Jack Reiss did nothing out of character for how he handles fights. Wilders team knew Jack Reiss well as he's a popular ref to have in title fights and they agreed on him to referee this fight. Complaining that Jack Reiss did what he normally does is nothing but whining that things didn't go your way.

Because it was not a long count, just longer than what Wilder fanboys wanted.

What is this long count nonsense?
It’s all over the board. He.counted to 10 he was up he beat the count.

    Did he count to slow?
    One one thousand?

Go visit a doctor, its 2-0 for Fury. If i was Fury i would never ever give that corrupt s**** a rematch.
The first fight judges f***** him, and in the second the referee was doing all the s**** in the world trying to help Wilder.
Everytime Wilder was hurt, referee gives him so much time to recover, every single time. The point deduction was ridiculous, in the same round Wilder hit twice after command stop and the shots were behind the heads. And yet he didn`t ever receive a warning, and in the same time he took away a point from Fury, because both exchanged blows, just wow .... He done this to give Wilder more time to recover.
Also Wilder slip 3273232636 times, which was to get more time. The referee should see this and warm him or count him a KD.
And if we talk about long counts, what can we say about Wilder long count? Go put the timer, from the moment Wilder hit the floor, when referee was counting 7, it was already on 12 or 13 second, if you count it by the time Wilder hit the floor. The second knockdown, it was 8 seconds since Wilder hit the floor, yet referee start counting from 4.

I`m so happy with the beating Wilder took, and the beating his fans took. You deserved it all.

    There was no long count.
Wilder and his fans have made a big deal out of the referee spending a few extra seconds to check Fury before waving the action on .... but that's normal these days .... and Wilder wasn't in the neutral corner like he was supposed to be anyway, so the referee was doing him more of a favour than he did Fury.
There was 2 minutes left in that round and Wilder did worse than Fury in those 2 minutes. If he's supposed to be such a killer, he would have closed the show.

Truth is, Fury is a level above, and Wilder was lucky in December 2018 he shared a ring with a Fury who was not yet anywhere near back to his best form.

I'm not really into the exact rules and regulations for referees, but I think it is officially called a "count to ten" not "count to ten seconds". Anyway Fury stood up at the very last second, with a very small margin of error. Hard to tell if he just made it, if he was up a blink before or after 10 seconds. Can't complain about the ref's decision there if you ask me. He judged Fury can continue and he was right. No matter what the ref did (stopping/or calling it off) people would complain.

Lol nothing wrong with count, but he could've waived the fight over as Fury was laying dead on the canvas for 5 sec. He didnt do that and the rest is history
It was a good call by the ref considering how strong Fury came back after the KD

The first fight was close. I had Fury winning but I couldn't argue with the draw.

In the rematch Fury completely dominated him.

You need to let it go. Wilderr took the beating like a man. The better man won it's a super simple as that.
