What's up with Fury's glove?

brb gonna make a video of me dipping boxing gloves in glue, then dipping them in broken glass, kickboxer style, and claim they are Tyson's gloves.... he cheating damn it!!

 

Ermm...I've not actually said anyone is lying. I'm saying I want irrefutable proof. Thats not too much to ask for is it?

 

I was just scrolling through Twitter seeing the reactions to the fight. Came across a video in which Fury's glove has some very unusual movement. Anyone care to explain this? Looking for a legitimate answer BTW, I'm not accusing Fury of anything or making excuses for Wilder -- I'm glad Fury won.

If anything, it looks a bit loose / too big, in which case Fury might have been somewhat hindered during the fight.

 

Completely normal if you don't squeeze strongly your fingers on the palm of your hand. Sometimes fighters use to hit in that way to relax the hands overstressed.

 

Just looks like poorly fitted gloves.

 

Looks like an open handed slap to increase the range of the jab. Don't know if that's legal or not.

 

Wow you young ones, see this is what I'm talking about sometimes, you have no idea about the old skool, you need to know all the tricks of the trade.

What Fury is doing with his glove is "the old wibble wobble", it's a technique going way back to the 1920's.

Yeah. I guess a poorly fitted glove or slapping would explain it. It just definitely looked unusual to me. His gloves would've been checked by the ref and people watching as his hands were wrapped etc, especially for a fight of this magnitude, so I'm definitely not accusing him of foul play it just caught my eye when I was scrolling through.

 

Man, this guy should be more angry Wilder lost to a guy who gave him a limp wristed ***** slap disguised as a hook. That ***** slap was harmless. The right hand had something on it but that jab and hook were love taps...foreplay for the lick action. If Fury wants to slap and lick dudes, that’s his business. I’m not judging, even though it’s a little odd.

Also, four punch combo, zero blocked. Nice defense by Wilder! If only he had a healthy set of legs. Is that from the first fight? Fury was just throwing slapping punches in that fight. He was sitting down on his punches in the second. Throwing with bad intentions not trying to slap a hoe.

 

His legs would have been okay if they weren’t TKO’d by his entrance costume.
