He didn't just get beat. He got outclassed and beat up, just as Ruiz got outclassed. Neither deserves rematches right now. They can work their way back into contention.

    LOL@you.....

Afraid the the "Bum" Wilder "might" land a home run punch against Fury?

Let me piece meal it for you.........99% of Heavies get beat by Ko or TKO..Fact.......Lennox Lewis got one shotted by a crack head......AJ spt his mouth piece out and quit against a late fat sub who was paid to loose.......WK was walked down by a Journey man. a walking Heavybag and blitzed by a Golfer......NONE of the above opponents had Furys skill , size and will.......Oldiefield was stopped by a Middle weight.....

In the end Fury will give Wilder a shot at redemption, same as Wilder immediately wanted to fight Fury after the first fight.

For the slow minded, Fury respects Wilder al lot more then you internet Nancys.

Wilder lost and lost badly. It was a beat down. He was completely outclassed.

I'd rather see Fury take on Joshua and finally decide who is the undisputed HW champ of the world. We haven't had one of those in a while.

I'm not a Wilder hater. Never was. But he badly lost and I'd rather see him fight someone else first before challenging for the title again.

Surely that's not some controversial opinion.

Wilder should take the rematch. It could be his last big payday, he is almost 35. If Fury does face Joshua next he could retire immediately afterwards thus denying Wilder all of that money.

There's no shame in losing to the same opponent twice, Tyson and Frazier are still considered legends despite being outclassed by Holyfield and Foreman respectively.

Yep no chance, just can’t win, no reason to keep fighting...why bother. Lol, he’s taking his rematch, try and deal.

He has a rematch clause, agreed to by all involved before hand, he is going to take it. Opinions don’t matter, it’s a matter of contractual obligation.

Dude has to take the rematch otherwise he's left out in the cold.

Fury believes he won the first fight and utterly dominated him fashion on Saturday. Why would he willingly give him a rematch?

Joshua has no need for him.

The only way back would be to try and work his way back into a mandatory spot and as the way the sport is, that's gonna be a bloody long time. Especially considering a Unification will also have a rematch clause.

Who's gonna willingly put themselves in against his right hand? He'll probably be pushing 40 before he gets another shot.

Maybe. Boxing is a funny business as you know. I hope Wilder has some lawyers reading the fine print on that agreement.

As you know, at the end of the day it's about money.

Fury got off the floor in that fight and pushed Wildder back after taking hard shots on the ropes, he`s just too tough for Wildder, he broke his heart, Wilder looked scared in there.

Wilder will be nowhere near being a top contender at 50.

I thought he put on too much weight

    No in fighting ability

Couldn't fight off the back foot

    No punch variety

I thought he did ok up until the knockdown but he couldn't seem to keep fury off after that. Fury became emboldened and wilder withered. Wilder under pressure had no poise whatsoever to try and plant his feet and counter. You'd think fury coming at him would enable many counter opportunities since he wouldn't have to go looking for fury

Was like a deer in the headlights much like Ruiz in the Joshua rematch
