It was stopped at exactly the right time. Hopefully Deontay will see that after he has time to reflect.
The rest of his team should be pistol whipped for how they handled that fight and post fight. There's absolutely no reason for him not to have been checked out at the hospital. Breland is the only one that has my respect in that crew. He did his job.
Joshua would smash Pulev to bits. Pulev is utter garbage. Wilder should stay far away from Fury. If he goes for a third fight he might as well just come to the ring wearing a red nose and a pair of clown shoes.
Wilder is on 40% and is going to make another $25m, worth taking whatever beating for that alone. And dude, Joshua will 100% not smash Pulev to bits. But I hope he thinks that because if he doesn't show full respect he'll end up on his ass again.
It was but people will always complain no matter when a fight is stopped. I actually thought the ref stopped it. Wilder was throwing nothing back.
Wilder should be thanking his lucky stars Breland threw in the towel, it is literally the only angle Wilder has to promote the third fight in his favour. He was going to be stopped by the ref or by another big Fury punch if he wasn't pulled out by his corner. Wilder's legs were gone, he was gassed and, even when he didn't look defenceless, he looked like he had no power left in his shots.
For that reason, and also for the reason that he could potentially have gotten badly hurt. Haymon's gopher, Honest Kenny, wasn't going to step in until Wilder was slumped. I do love Wilder's 'let me leave on my shield' mentality, however. That's how he's supposed to roll. As for Mark B., saving his fighter from himself is how he is supposed to roll.
yes yes, great Idea... lets make sure Wilder gets brain damage, just so you can selfishly lust after Tyson knocks him out completely, just so you can walk away thinking wow that was a great fight... SMH
What's breland said post fight? It might be time to fire breland or deas just to try and get out of his routine
