Totally agree. Joshua has fantastic natural attributes in size, speed and power. He can really box, too, and if he does chin Usyk sweet then it’ll quickly be over although that’s the same for most heavyweights AJ faces. Usyk beats the version of Joshua pre December where he relied on his size, set himself before he let his shot go and wasn’t the swiftest at stepping back out of range. Usyk’s fantastic footwork coupled with the variation of angles and lateral movement he possesses would have got him a decision imo. However, as boring as it was, Joshua boxed beautifully against Ruiz and I wouldn’t be confident Usyk could beat that version of him.

Would love to see it. Usyk beats Chisora comfortably tho imo.

With chisora i feel usyk will either out box him or put the pressure on usyk and stop him late

    I could be wrong tho

Joshua i still favor him over usyk but im interested to see if the flaws Joshua has match with usyks strengths

I think Usyk is a nightmare for Joshua. Great footwork and can throw constantly all round. We have already seen if you just move a little and feint it can cause problems Technically Usyk is just streets ahead of AJ and probably anybody he has faced. Obviously size and power is with Joshua but I'm not sure that is enough.

My main concern with Usyk is his fitness and he seems to be picking bad injuries now.

Usyk is a bad fight for most heavyweights for 2 reasons he is tricky but isn’t that marketable high risk low reward. AJ assuming he wants the Fury fight will vacate the WBO and let Usyk fight AN other

He does not need to vacate the WBO they would allow him to unify first. He would be better off fighting Pulev and try making the Fury fight AFTER the Wilder rematch. Fury only has 1 fight left on his Top Rank deal. Usyk would be next after unification but I would expect the winner to retire and vacate all titles.

Given Joshua's relatively late introduction into the sport and his meteoric rise I think it's quite possible that now, after that setback, we're going to see a peak Joshua, aware of his flaws and how to protect them, aware of his strengths and how to utilise them. Mad to think that people were genuinely calling for him to retire after the first Ruiz jnr fight, interesting that nobody is saying the same about Wilder.

wilder should retire as he cant really improve much without that right hand .

AJ also is still improving , he is a new improved joshua , however i believe he still has the same weaknesses just like you said , hes learned to protect them

Let's see Joshua do it against a game opponent. That fat mess that went to Saudi would get wiped out by most of the top 10. Ruiz was an embarrassment. That money killed any fire he had.

That's why I respect the top sportspeople who once they make it, they still strive to be the best. Ruiz had the golden ticket and lost it.

chisora can mark up usyks face however i feel it wont be enough to get him the victory

chisora will have his moments. however usyk will adjust either stop chisora late or , end up outboxing him

AJ is another story with real lethal power

Chisora is a big lump with KO power, and one of the most durable chins in the division.

He has always had a good engine too, and when he is motivated he is lethal. He seems to be in a more motivated phase the past 1.5 years... and for Usyk I think he will be motivated... so don't underestimate delboy too much... the guy has achieved what REAL LETHAL POWER AJ failed to achieve in KOing TAKAM

Or are you conveniently forgetting the day the REAL LETHAL POWER OF AJ failed?

Usyk will do something similar to what Pulev did, this might be an improved Chisora but Usyk is different gravy, the bloke can box

Fair play.. I just feel for every human being in history there comes a moment when your body and mind are in tune with your abilities and you evolve into the next level... as a gamer... tennis player... business man... boxer... and I see Chisora has peaked only very recently... he has found his rythm, he is in his element... he is more refined... and he will bring a war to Usyk... not saying Usyk wont win... I just want to see with my eye... how Usyk handles this litmus test before the next challenge.

true i agree with that chisora did have a great shot , i just feel overall AJ carries the more lethal calculated power just how AJ flattened martin who has a southpaw and AJ caught him twice coming in stopping him

chisora struggled with that southpaw guy gashi couldnt stop him . chisora has the overall brute one punch however i doubt he can land as good as AJ more calculated
