Two terrific Fighters. Their three fights are three of the most ferocious I have ever seen. I have posted elsewhere on here previously that the Ref for the third fight should have gone down for attempted murder. He almost holds Rocky up so that Zale can end it !
Only one was filmed I believe,the third in1948 the year I was born ,I'm 71 now, so how old are you? Your profile says 52?
Ha ha ! Might have been watching clips of the same fight I guess. I have read Somebody up there Likes Me though and Rocky's descriptions of all 3 of their fights is almost harrowing.
I think there is some really poor quality footage of part of the second fight that turned up at some point that was filmed from the stands but it's pretty much unwatchable.
