Riddick bowe beating a prime Tyson Fury sounds laughable and lewis is not stopping Fury, lewis could win a decision yes but stopping Fury no.

Stylistically fury is horrible for holyfield. I see Joe Frazier doing it better against Fury than evander does

I's it laughable really to say that Lewis could not stop Fury? Out of a lot of heavyweights, I'd definitely say Lennox could. And Bowe not beating Fury, what's mad about that.? Just take a look back at Furys fight before the wllder ko and tell me THAT version of TF could not be beaten.

I find myself agreeing with you here.

Although There seems to be something of “destiny” about Tyson Fury (so I am sure he would make an impact or sorts) I still don’t think there is enough to go on to make firm guarantees in another era.

to date, the one dominant win Fury has over a prime world class fighter is Wilder. That’s it. And it took two times to beat him.

Wilder was only ever a champion because Fury vacated a belt. Wlad was old and fighting perhaps the first young, seasoned, proven 12 round fighter (close to as tall as he was) of his reign. Nothing else Tyson ever did would be beyond Frank Bruno or Ray Mercer.

Not mad exactly but honestly i can't see it happening. Bowe definitely could not ko fury because he is not the puncher that wilder is and noway in hell is bowe beating him by points. Fury. Beats riddick bowe

Why does Bowe beating Fury sound laughable?

    Why?
    1. Fury is bigger
    2. Fury is faster with hands and footwork
    3. Fury has better chin
    4. Fury is better boxer
    5. Fury got longer reach
    6. You can argue that Wladimir klitschko and wilder are better wins than anything that bowe had in his career . the "great" legacy of bowe is supported only by a single name,Holyfield that was a natural cruiser. Wladimir klitschko was a dominant skilled super hw and yes. I think that wladimir would beat evander h2h. (Pfp evander is obviously better.)
Yes.. I think that Tyson Fury would give bowe a boxing class

Fury would probably be best one for the first half of the 90s, but Lewis would take over in the second half.

A big question for me is how post prison Tyson would fit in. Fury doesn't seem like the kind of guy who could maintain top form for 6 years, and 30 y/o Mike was still explosive. If they met in 95 or 96, Mike might get the best of it.

I think he could “ theoretically “ beat all those guys. In reality however he’d probably pick up a loss against someone. That’s a horrible schedule. Nevertheless to answer the thread question he most likely would have made enough of a splash to enter the the all time ranks with the rest of that crew.

I love it, after beating the bum Wilder who cannot fight cannot box was a paper champion everybody beats Willder including Middleweights Fury is elevated to the GOAT.
    .

So you are the GOAT after you beat a shot timid old WK and the bum of all bums , Wilder.

Mike Tyson is a bum too, afterall, you only had to stand up to him to beat him but when Holy fought a washed up Tyson he turned into the GOAT too, the mighty Dragon slayer.......

So on one end Wilder and Tyson are bums but when it fits the agenda they become career defining fights, against all odds, the stuff of legends.

It is absolute laughable that Fury would dominate in the late 80's.......he is not even dominating now......the thought alone that he would walk thru Tyson/Holyfield/Bowe/Lewis is pure comedy.......I guess killing a bum makes you a tripple threat to the above.

Some people forget that his encounter with a old glass chinned WK was one of the worst heavyweight fights ever.

I see a snoozefest decision for Tyson Fury. Tyson would wisely pull a John Ruiz on Holyfield and muscle him in the clinch. Score from outside and smother him.

We all thought that Andy Ruiz was one of the all time greats after his kayo victory over Anthony Joshua, but after his one hit wonder reign, he was sadly forgotten. Be careful with Tyson Fury, one great victory over seemingly second coming of Iron Mike Tyson, Tyson Fury. Everyone knows the broken down phrase, Assume. Try not to let it happen to you. Mr. Fury will need to prove himself to the boxing world first. If he has another impressive victory over Deontay Wilder and a sensational victory over Anthony Joshua, then we can safely assume that he deserves recognition as an all time great. One victory, and it was a great one does not give anyone an all time great title. Just ask The Old Snicker Man himself, Andy Ruiz or an oldie from the past, Leon Spinks, from 1978.
