Yep, Wilder was never hurt, he was just tired. He looked really tired in the corner, taking unanswered punches to the body and head. He was ready to go down from tiredness, not damage inflected by punches. That wasn’t a towel they threw in, it was a blanket so he didn’t get cold when he was sleeping. I respectfully disagree, I understand the sentiment, because you’re only as good as your last performance. That memory of the first fight is skewed by Fury performing better than expected, but the implication he dominated that fight or whatever just isn’t reality, IMHO. He was the better fighter Saturday for sure, no argument there.

 

I agree, Wilder will easily KTFO Fury next time. I mean sure, Deontay did lose every round on all but one judges scorecard. Sure, he got out-landed in power shots 56 to 18. Yes, he got knocked down twice, thrown down another time and then just fell over once.
