Duran was a flat out jerk

    He was a great fighter but very overrated and he and his fans always try to find excuses for his losses!
    He talked some nasty things about Leonard,Hagler and also about Leonard wife!
    He denied that he said "No mass" which is quitting because Ray outboxed him!
    In fight with Wilfred Benitez he refused to shake hands when Benitez tried to hug him and denied loss but judges clearly bring right decision and Wilfred was clearly a winner who schooled him!
    He always find excuses and proclaimed himself as the greatest!In one interview he said that he thinks he is greater than Chavez and even that Chavez said that he is the greatest!
    He also said that he would beat Mayweather who was better than Hearns and Benitez but in reality Floyd would outboxed him like he did to Canelo!
    He acted like a ******* and jerk and showed no sportsmanship!I respect him as a fighter but he acts like a clown,always find excuses and proclaimed himself as the greatest which quitter could never be!
    His fans are like Tyson!He also said nasty things about Hearns but he forgot somehow how strong Hearns was!
    I can not see how somehow like him who quit can said that he is the greatest compared to warriors like Ali,Marciano,Robinson,Johnson,Greb,Langford...
    I do not respect him especially for showing not sportsmanship when Benitez tried to hug him!He acted like a clown!He is a fighter who partied,quit,loudmouth,showed no sportsmanship... and could not be never considered in top 20 fighters but the greatest?I want your opinion!

    Most great fighters were jerks/arrogant , it was part of their DNA. Get over it.

    Lous,Marciano,Frazier... were not arrogant!
    I never saw SRR proclaiming himself the greatest also I never saw Louis or Marciano!SRR said Marciano was the greatest for him and Louis said p4p for him SRR is the greatest!They were gentlemans!

    More fake news. Never in his lifetime did Duran say he would not go to mass. He is a devout practicing Catholic and attends regularly. Obvious Pernelsweets son here gets his facts from his daddy. A "relatively young Roberto Duran"! What a joke.
