Prime Holyfield, Spinks, Usyk, Gassiev, Breides, Moorer, Toney, Jirov. I would take all those over Wilder, who would have a punchers chance against a few but I think he loses more fights than he wins.

That is basically what normal people do, they grow wide/fat as they age, a boxer in the Heavyweight division also has the incentive to do that, since there are no high-velocity threats (except Deontay Wilder) at Heavyweight, so they can roll in fat or Bulky and still win slow-paced fights & beat other out of shape guys of their size.

The term starving for Greatness...is exactly what a 6'02" Heavyweight can't do
    • ATG Marvin Hagler was a Light Heavyweight as a younger adult
    • ATG Andre Ward was a Light Heavyweight as a younger adult
    • ATG Bernard Hopkins was Light Heavyweight as a younger adult

Not to mention. Fury leaned on Wilder. That took Wilders stamina.

Despite the horrible performance, I still think Wilder KO's every cruiserweight within 3 rounds. They won't bully him which was the obvious factor Sunday.

Is your last name Nichols because you sound like a fat **** to me

Even a 210lbs muscular guy at 5ft11 isn't skinny lol

Actually if you claim to be an ectomorph you must be a fat **** because an ectomorph with a bit of size at that height wouldn't be any bigger than 180lbs

I see Usyk, Gassiev and Briedis all beating Wilder.

If we are still counting Hunter, then Hunter is nightmare for Wilder stylistically.

Could see Okolie bullying Wilder on the inside in a typical boring but effective Okolie dtyle of fight.

Height Matters...Especially when you are facing 6'07" Deontay Wilder the Hardest Puncher to walk Earth, those Shorter talented boxers will just put in the way of harm in an unfair dangerous fight.

    • 5'10 Toney
    • 5'11"
    • 6'00"
    • 6'01" Breides
    • 6'02" Holyfield
    • 6'02" Spinks
    • 6'02" Moorer
    • 6'02" Jirov
    • 6'03" Usyk
    • 6'03" Gassiev
    • 6'04"
    • 6'05"
    • 6'06"
    • 6'07" Wilder
    • 6'08"
    • 6'09" Fury

Most top heavyweights are endomorphs. Which is to be expected because Endomorphs carry a lot of weight and have larger frames. They settle in at a higher bodyfat percentage naturally than other body types. You can still be in shape when you're an endomorph you just won't have that sinewy, lean look that we traditionally associate with as a fitness body or a fighter body.

Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, Fury, Vitali, Holmes, Frazier, etc. The majority of the great Heavyweights have been endomorphs. They're big guys.

Also, this guy isn't taking into consideration that as you get taller you also get wider. Jorge Linares is 5'7" and has a 29 inch waist. That's normal and healthy for a 5'7" man. Deontay Wilder is an entire foot taller, standing 6'7". He has a 36 inch waist. Despite being pretty lean himself. Taller men don't just grow upwards. They also tend to have larger frames too. It would look ridiculous for a man of Wilder's height to have a 29 inch waist like the 5'7" Linares.

Yeah thats what I told the other guy who was trying to scale people linearly using a ratio... I told him people dont just grow vertically... but wider shoulders... limb length, craniums etc.

Also I dont agree that Lewis, foreman Vitali were endomorphs... I believe they were ecto to meso.

Lewis was always slim, vitali was always slim... etc endomorphs are seen from very early on... the have visibly bigger bones, wide hips, watr retention going on etc... ive seen plenty.

Another thing is that men around 5'10" have the most aesthetic frames. The further you move away from that the more out of proportion and less harmony a physique tends to have. Those who veer off shorter than 5'10" tend to take on a stumpy, stocky, tree stump look as they build muscle. They also tend to have short arms and look t-rex like. See 5'4" Gary Russell Jr.

Taller than 5'10" you tend to see guys look gangly, wide hipped, wide waisted, awkward, uncoordinated, etc. Their physiques tend to have no harmony. Look at Michael Jordan for instance. Ever see him run the bases at 6'6" he looks goofy as hell running. Even the best tall athletes always look weird and like something is off.

Lewis always had a wide core, chubby face, etc. But then again he's 6'6" of course he will have a wide core and wide hips, etc. Nobody at 6'6" ever truly looks proportioned or aesthetic.

Yeah but I mean going by the pictures of him early on in his career and with his time sparring tyson, he was a tall athletic build... whereas tyson was the endomorph because the guy had big bones, and was like 86 kilos at 5 ft 10 at 14 years old!!!! I've had to work my arse off in the gym for decade to get up to that weight at similar height. Its all genetics

I genuinely feel that Usyk has such an elevated boxing IQ in relation to Wilder that he would figure out Wilder fairly quickly, time him and then have him in trouble with a potentially fight ending combo by the halfway mark.

Prior to Saturday's result I had it as a 60/40 kind of fight in Usyk's favour. Now, I give Wilder a 1 in 10 punchers chance he is just so poor with the boxing fundamentals. Even Wilders supposed high level of stamina looked **** poor against Fury and his work rate has been lacking in both Ortiz fights and the Fury fights. He has neglected his jab since Stiverne 1, has 0 inside game and rarely works to the body. Against such a supreme boxer as Usyk it gives very few options.
