who says he was bigger? Heavier is Heavier. Bigger is separate thing entirely. stop with this Unfounded BS about dishonesty. I don’t like being called a liar! It is not true! I have never grassed on anyone in my life. And never would do. For you to admit that if you would tell tales if you felt the need certainly says something.
I’m sorry is this a forum or a bleeding playground? Arguing over weights you clowns! once a blokes world class and over 200 pounds 10 or 20 pound is negligible ffs!
There’s Pratt’s on here who have never boxed just like reading books and looking at men with big mussels.
You don't like being called a liar? Then stop ****ing lying. Sinple as! You using Louis's weight in his final fight to say he was "heavier" than Wilder is intentionally misleading. That's akin to saying Frazier was bigger than Wilder because he was 224.5 against Foreman to Wilder's 212 against Fury. You're a joke.
No it is not a lie. Louis was heavier against Marciano than when Wilder drew with Fury . Nothing misleading there. It is only akin to who weighed more. Entirely legitimate. You don’t know what you are talking about. Heavier is heavier. If you don’t think weight is negligible within a certain amount Because you Decided on something else then you must accept the fact of it.
The problem right now is Marciano makes people irrational. Your only point from the beginning of this weight issue was “wait look Marciano wasn’t bullied by a 214 pound Louis and Wilder has weighed less so he probably wouldn’t be bullied either”. Has turned into how dare you say Louis is heavier you’re a liar lol. Missing the point completely. I don’t think you’re a liar Choc I think people Like to bring it up to bother u. If they can’t argue the point at hand and are arguing semantics that have nothing to do with the argument they’re deflecting and don’t have a proper counter argument otherwise they would use it. It’s a debate tactic
1-where in my post did i say the ONLY reason Fury beat wilder is because he was 30 lbs heavier? You are so caught up in your narrative you will skim over what someone wrote and insert what you believe they believe instead of simply responding to what they actually wrote or asking them to clarify. Weight played a part because fury's strategy centered on getting off first, then tying wilder up and leaning on him to tire him out. This strategy would not be as effective if he was lighter than wilder or weighed the same. Weight isn't the only reason but it was a huge factor. Wilder is a lanky man who doesn't know how to fight backing up and isn't a good inside fighter. So when fury consistently fought on the front foot, landed first and made wilder back up he won half the battle. 2-wilder was 230 in the 2nd fury fight. He was much heavier than joe Louis and especially rocky who averaged between 185-190 in his prime. Im guessing your doing your usual thing where you low ball taking the lowest weight for the modern fighter and the highest weight for the old school fighter? Why don't you use the AVERAGE weights for joe Louis and Wilder to determine who was the heavier man? Wilder has several fights where he is 220-230. Whenever he's lower than that he is very skinny and lethargic. It's very ironic that you pretend like weight suddenly doesn't matter at heavyweight but you play these games. 3-if you're asking me if I think marciano can beat wilder to the punch, the answer is hell no. He was tagged and beaten to the punch by men who had shorter arms and less hand speed than wilder. Really dumb question.
At this point, the Marcianista agenda is so ridiculous that the sensible, experienced observer of the sport finds in it, at best, absolute hilarity or at worst, a dulling, oppressive level of nonsense. The real question is what motivates this group think. It certainly isn't boxing. What do these individuals see in Rocky that motivates them to such lunacy? What does his position in the heavyweight pantheon enforce or challenge given his ranking? Therein you will get to the meat of the matter in all these threads.
They've ruined Rocky for what he actually was. If he was around today, I think he'd laugh at this insane pedestal his fans have set for him.
