At least Wilder didn't spit out his mouthpiece and quit

Joshua's loss was embarrassing but at least he won the rematch in emphatic if boring fashion. Wilder's first loss to Fury wasn't so bad as that, but his second was worse and no one is going to give him a chance in a third. At this point in time Joshua's in a far better place financially, emotionally and physically, and in a great position to unify all the belts if he can beat Fury. If you had to put yourself in one of their shoes very few would want to be in Wilder's right now.

He got smashed to bits mate didn’t have a clue what was going on, weather or not he quit is for you to be concerned with, it was an awful performance against a pretty poor opponent, what ever the reason he lost but he lost to the better man on the night as he admitted, he avenged the loss and hold 3 belts, wilder was smashed to bits and it was because of his costume, he will get smashed to bits again and still have no belts, then he will fight Whyte hopefully and get smashed to bits again, and he will probably never admit he was beaten by the better man, we can argue about it as much as you like but you won’t have a heavyweight champion for along time.

AJ clearly didn't want to continue. The ref could have stopped the fight more than once because AJ was unwilling or unable to follow instructions after the 8 count.

I give AJ credit for coming up with an effective game plan and winning his belts back, but lets be real, the version of Ruiz that fought in the rematch was beyond pathetic.

Wilder lost to the best HW, and all these Jacobs fans are spamming the board with ridiculous posts, the least reasonable fans can do are point out the facts, and in this case the fact is that Wilder showed tons of heart, while AJ showed he wanted out.

"At least" is quite is the understatement.

Yes, Wilder lost badly and I don't like his disrespect for Breland, but Wilder is absolutely not being given enough credit for his heart.

Wilder was getting his **** kicked in hard. For multiple rounds. He looked delirious and concussed -- he could barely stand.

And yet he absolutely did not want it stopped.

Wilder needs to get more credit for this.

Exactly. Joshua was fighting back up until the final KD. He was jabbing and hooking with Ruiz and attempted to land a KO right hand before Ruiz dropped him. Whether he spit his gumshield out or not I can't say. Even if he did that's not an immediate sign of wanting out. Corrales did the same in order to buy him some time before KOing Castillo. It's a veteran trick, like your trainer loosening the tape on your gloves between rounds.

Wilder was just backpedalling and looking terrified. He was also fighting back but more in a keep off me style than anything designed to turn the tide in his favour. By the seventh he was huddling in a corner offering no resistance whatsoever.

I don't want to question either man's heart, but if people want to say that one man quit then both men quit. Personally I just think they had the fight beat out of them and displayed tremendous guts to get to that point without bowing out.

Joshua was awful against Ruiz, wilder was well beaten by fury both times, but got battered, you can say they both quit if you like but only one of them will go down in history and be remembered as officially quitting, throwing in the towel, let’s say Joshuas gum shield fell out, wilders towel didn’t fall into the ring, it was thrown in absolute desperation. Anyway you decide gum shield out and holding on to the ropes or holding on to the ropes and a white towel getting thrown in and hands getting waved all over, stop stop everyone pointing at the sad white towel on the floor.

Joshua is much more eloquent and political. I'm sure he had one or more excuses, but he knows better than to trump them.

I want to know why you think he quit. Not coming forward when your legs are gone and you're dog tired isn't a clear cut sign of anything but fatigue.

Then good for him. Not sure what the hell you're criticising here to be honest.
