Ask Marco Huck because Steve Cunningham was the first man to give him his first loss (TKO stoppage), also Huck was able to survive Prime Povetkin & Prime Briedis Marco Huck vs Steve Cunningham, This content is protected Marco Huck vs Alexander Povetkin, This content is protected Marco Huck vs Mairis Briedis, This content is protected Steve Cunningham lone KO loss was vs Tyson Fury
Sure can if he beats Wilder a 3rd time, beats AJ, Whyte, Parker, Usyk, Ruiz Jr and the Daniel Dubois/Joe Joyce winner. He beats all those guys and he can claim himself as an ATG fighter and I'd rate him over Lewis based off the amount of names on his resume.
or..... AJ fought a far more aggressive and hungrier Wlad - yet knocked him down a number of times on the way to a KO victory.
Lmfao. Joyce whyte parker and dubois are all nobodies. Usyk hasn't even won a heavyweight fight yet. The only decent wins he has are over wlad and Wilder. Wlad was 40 and Wilder was outweighed by 50 pounds. That's not a good resume at all
He can’t if he retires after 2 more fights! He might arguably be up there with Lewis if he beats Joshua, Whyte, Parker and 3 or 4 of the upcoming challengers like Dubois, Usyk & Ajagba
Fury is on par with Bowe who only had good wins against Holyfield although he was Undisputed and Fury technically is not despite having won all the belts. Fury's 2 wins were against 39 year old Wlad and 35 yr old Wilder. People complain in this thread about Lewis beating 36 yr old Holyfield when he himself was 34 and a 35 year old Tyson when he himself was 36. Lewis at 37 yrs and 9 months beat 31 year old Vitali Klitschko but gets no credit from the same people for being old himself against a guy that went on to be undefeated champion from then on until retirement and who came back 4 yrs later to reign again.
Would be extremely tough beat AJ Beat whyte Beat Usyk and finally win the passing of the torch fight against the next dominant champ.
Technically Fury lost by any other referees count against Wilder in the first fight, he got 22 seconds which if Lennox was allowed against Mcall he would have been ok to carry on This content is protected
In another line of thought fury has surpassed one of the dominant champs post Lewis in vitali if he beats AJ and he beats Whyte, even without Usyk, I would put quality over quantity and rate fury above both brothers. But not quite Lennox
Simple answer in no, Fury cannot. There isn't the level of comp available in the HW division to even allow this to come to fruition.
wilder got about 17 seconds in both knockdowns in the second fight if you want to be pathetic
