Which other Brit heavies down the years could have finished Wilder in 7 rounds or even less?

Even yourself can't believe what you are saying. Joshua does not have the chin to survive to the brutal right hand from wilder during 12 rounds. Tyson Fury got much better chin than Joshua and he is better boxer than Joshua

    This

So overnight Wilder has turned into a total Bum who would loose to anyone in the Top 20 because the "Blueprint" is out there....never mind that Fury is 6'9/275 and can box a bit and still needed two tries to get it done while almost getting counted out.

cannot fight box poor dis and poor dat but it took the current best fighter in the division to get it done........the funny thing is if Wildwer would have landed a bail out hail mary in the 6th instantly Fury would have been declared a drug addict who was washed up and only 30% of what he was before.and on to the next boogyman who would lay Wilder out.

For all his faults Wilder went out on his shield, he might lack some but heart and chin it aint.

If and when Wilder Ko's another top 10 Heavy, which he will, they got ko'ed by a bum.

I do not accuse you of that way of thinking .

Yeah, I can't see Joshua taking a flush shot from Wilder and making it. He'd fold up.

That said, he might just be able to finesse his way to a decision. I doubt it. I don't like Fury but I have to give credit where credit is due: he's got heart. Those were Shavers-level shots in the 12th round of that first fight, and he not only got up but seemingly got recomposed supernaturally quickly (even landed a nice right before the final bell).

If Joshua and Wilder fought, it would be a rash person who bet money on either man.

That is why they probably never will fight now!

I don't think Wilder is that great. He has that big punch which guys probably have to either find a way to smother it or to take it and land themselves, and that is hard. Wilder has a quick right, but not much else. But still, that is a huge problem for someone he fights. Lennox would have stopped Wilder rather easily.

I think Steward-era Lewis would have eaten Wilder for breakfast. Pre-Steward Lewis...all it took was one flush shot by Wilder, and I just don't see him surviving.

Sorry for the confusion Ed but was only questioning Bruno being up on the cards vs Tim. He wasn't even if it would not have been outrageous if he was.

I'm not a Fury fan either but, along with his big mouth he has big balls.

They'll fight ,and I think Wilder will take step aside money,it's his wisest option imo.

Wilder in the clinch get to quote Big George "his legs broken" by a Lewis uppercut.
Fury landed plenty but they didn't have the steam that Lewis did. A real under rated weapon in Lennox's aresenal.
Wilder V Lewis is almost who gets the right hand off first but LEwis didn't have a terrible chin despite the 2 KO's he could fight inside was a massive puncher himself, good jab you can bet he would back Wilder up and then Wilder is toast only concern is Wilder's speed.
I'd make Lennox faviorute i'd still back Lennox to beat Fury but that's less certain with Furys movement but Lennox was the more reliable puncher and Fury wouldn't have his on way on the inside.

After that Bruno I think would be too stiff, Wilder is always in shape and would again have the speed advantage.

My bad, in that case, JT. I could have sworn Frank was ahead on points. Whatever, it was a very credible performance against a good opponent albeit one in less than stellar condition.

Steward-era Lewis was still knocked senseless by one flush shot from Rahman so having Steward in his corner, while it did improve him greatly as a fighter, it didn’t mean that he couldn’t be caught and Koed like he was before Steward became his trainer.

Very credible. The mate and i watched it live and cheered for Frank. I thought he may have been winning tbh. Witherspoon has "claimed" that despite being fat he had actually trained really hard and was ready to roll.

Fat git certainly looked like he could roll. Such a frustrating career as he achieved so little with his talent.

A propos naff all, I believe he was a bodyguard for Hagler on the night Marvin won the title from Minter. Rumour has it he earned more that night than the night he fought Big Frank.
