I bag Clenelo every chance I get but have to agree, this is a good match up. Smith didn't look good last fight, Ryder is underrated and anybody can have a sub par performance. I really dislike Ginger and Oscar but I see nothing wrong with their choice of opponent here.

If.... *if*.... Smith isn't hamstrung by a rehydration clause..... this is a tough match-up for Canelo. Smith was awful vs Ryder but totally underestimated him. So that fight is a bad reference point. Anyone can have an off night. He's 6' 3'' and - minus any BS clause - probably close to 195llbs on fight night. Bigger and taller than Krusher and in his prime. And take him at his word, he makes 168 fine. I like this fight as long as GBP don't drop any of their BS clauses on it....
