Breland has been treated like a dog by Wilder

I have always been a fan of Wilder and still think away from boxing he is a good guy

But he has treated the man appallingly

For heavens sake! It's not like Breland threw the towel in during a war!!

Wilder WOULD HAVE been badly hurt or knocked out had it continued

Deontay should be thanking Mark Breland and trying to come up with a strategy on how to prolong his career

It was probably for the best. The bomb squad would have only jumped him anyway. He's let the team down taking that towel to the ring with him.

Does Wilder not also realise that towel or not the Ref was in the act of stopping the fight!

Truly Wilder is being blinkered and delusional in order to protect his self persona

Keep him and his goddamn towels in the hallway!

A trainer has an obligation to protect his fighter...unless that fighter (his employer) has specifically instructed that under zero circumstances can he throw in the towel.

Wilder knows he has zero tools besides a monster right hand and an uncanny ability to land that right hand. He's called for a body on his resume....and was lucid and clear headed in his post fight interview saying he realizes that "body" could very well be him. He's willing to die. This ain't Golden Gloves, this is man deciding for himself how he leads his life.

That still leaves a neutral party, the referee, to protect the fighter from a life altering beating.

Breland should leave this side of the hurt business. Women and amateurs needs trainers these days too. Hopefully he finds the peace there that he never found in the big leagues.

Breland messed upbut the past is the past. Just don't ever give Breland another towel. He refused to wipe the blood off Wilder but was quick to throw it in (team Kronk suggested it to Breland)

Wilder didn't even get a concussion according to Doctors.

Whether or not Wilder could have landed a surprise KO on Fury is done. Breland threw in the towel. Wilder wanted to continue, the ref wanted the fight to continue, the fans wanted the fight to continue. I'm sure fury wanted to lick up some more blood too.

Breland knew there was going to be a trilogy. Wilder must have whispered, "my legs" breland knew, Wilder will have a better shot in the trilogy. Wilder got too arrogant.

Once again, Deontay Wilder displays what a despicable piece of dung he is.

Breland is a very knowledgeable man and Wilder was lucky to have him as an assistant trainer. Breland will be better off working with other boxers in the future.

I was a bit surprised Wilder's corner didn't pull him out a bit earlier.

Wilder couldn't lift his arms to defend himself. The ref should have stopped it.

Breland did Wilder a massive favour. But Wilder is too much of a massive bellend to get it.

Breland should find a proper boxer to train.

Breland messed up? Wilder was all over the place. Fury had him in the corner just before the towel was thrown in. What would have happened if that towel wasn't thrown in? Wilder would have been smashed to pieces in that corner. The stoppage was coming one way or another, either from Fury's fists or Kenny Bayless.

And as for surprise KO's, don't act like it was going to happen, or even had a chance of happening. There was ZERO chance of it happening, Wilder was finished. He was in a far worse state than what Ortiz had him in. Legs gone, exhausted...he wasn't doing anything in there.

Nobody wanted it to continue. Wilder had NOTHING. He didn't have 5-10% left to give. He had 0% left to give. Fury was bullying him around the ring.

K-Bay was going to come to his rescue for the 3rd or 4th time in the fight not long after had Breland not thrown in the towel, but make no mistake about it, Bootleg D was only seconds away from being on the wrong end of a savage HL reel KO loss had they allowed it to continue. He was a dead man walking or rather a dead man stumbling like a zombie in a daze. His body language had been terrible for at least the previous 2 rounds if not longer and he was totally done.

Another snuff movie watcher ! You people are sinister. When a Fighter can no longer defend himself, you stop the contest. If the Referee is too slow you pull your boy out. No decent human wants to watch a man die.

I feel the same. I like DW but he's lost some of my respect for him over his treatment of Breland. You dont do that to someone who has done so much for you. Stand by your guy and if you disagree do so behind closed doors.
