Archie was knocked by the hardest hitter of his era and by the best and that is Ali himself! You said Marciano fought old Archie but you forgott that Ali fought much older Archie Moore!Where was Foster at age of 50 when Moore was fighting???He was punch drunk while Moore lived to the end like a man!Frazier was not only knocked down by Foreman but from Bonavena and Quarry also!Prime Foster was knocked by past prime Ali in eight but prime Ali knocked 50 years old Moore in 4th and that prove how Moore chin is great!Foster was knocked by Folley,Jones,Terell,Frazier,Ali and some bums!Archie was knocked 3 times and that was against Marciano,Patterson and Ali and he was 50 years old!Moore was allways rated as the best or 2nd best LHW of all time but where is Foster?Bob Satterfield was better fighter than Foster and knocked Williams in 3 rounds ehich only Liston and Ali did but Archie knocked Satterfield in 3 rounds!Archie is much, much better than Foster in every way!

Are you really comparing Foster to the great Archie Moore? No comparison.

I rate moore higher for legacy and a longer carreer but saying " no comparison" is a complete bull****. Both guys are in every single top 10 lhws ever. So 2 guys who are in a top 10 of all time in the same weight class can be compared 100%. Plus h2h you can make a solid case for bob foster knocking him out cold, after all Foster did hit much harder than ezzard charles (knocked moore out)and was bigger too.

Prime Moore was ko'd by 11-2-1 Leonard Morrow.

"According to the San Francisco Chronicle; Morrow landed a left-right that dropped Moore for a six count. After Moore got up a little shaky, he pulled back into a long left hook, which floored him for a nine count. Moore got up wobbly, but pushed Morrow back with a flurry to the body. As he plunged forward though, Morrow tagged him with a straight right that stretched him for the full count."
    Folley beat Foster by decision.
How many light heavies beat him? Which lightheavies stopped him? Thirty years old Ali ,who would go on to win the title 2 more times was past prime but 34 years old Foster was prime?Yeah okay!
ps Satterfield beat a 20 years old Williams who came in as a late 2 day substitute.

I'd compare him and favourably, both are top ten lightheavies.

They don’t come close to comparing...especially their hw records. Moore is leagues above what Foster was. Moore was a top tier Hw ranked for what a decade? Records don’t compare in the slightest at heavy weight. Maybe LHW Foster ranks well but Moore ranks well p4p and we’ve been over his Hw record which is impressive.

What’s Fosters Hw record and what’s Archies? If you can count that high for archies record I’ll be awaiting the answer. We are discussing HWs not LHWs. Moore was an impressive Hw as well as lhw

Both are top ten light heavyweights which is what I STRESSED.
No light heavies stopped Foster, who dominated the division.

Totally irrelevant to their standing in the division in which both were champions!

That’s fair I was referring to his Hw record which is honestly atrocious. Lost to most halfway decent man he met there. As opposed to Moore who practically cleaned the division out.
