At least joshua took his loss like a man, made no excuses, blamed no one else.

Read it slower and try again. I know Wilder getting hammered by his one prime opponent is difficult for you to accept but that's what happened.

At least Wilder didn't get dropped four times, spit out his mouthpiece and quit against late sub Andy Ruiz.

Wow. No matter what you say in this thread ... that answer works for everything. (LOL)

Hang it up. You've got nothing.

Maybe that's why he grew his hair for the rematch, in case he lost again and needed an excuse? The weight of that 70s throwback fro cannot be underestimated. Makes the win all the more impressive...

Wilder didn't get knocked out in the first fight. He floored Fury twice, it was a draw, and he successfully defended his WBC title. Joshua did nothing of kind in his first fight with Ruiz.

Wilder just suffered his first loss in 44 fights over 12 years a couple days ago. He was the underdog. Fury, the World champ, was the top-rated fighter in the division. We'll see if Wilder can come back. He has a higher hill to climb.

Joshua got dropped four times and quit against a late sub. That wasn't quite the same hill to get back over.

I'm not bragging Wilder lost. He lost to the best. That's better than quitting against ANDY RUIZ.

    It just is.

You guys can go on and on, but quitting against late sub Andy Ruiz will FOREVER be worse than losing to the undefeated, World Heavyweight Champion.

    Deal with it.

Wilder hasn’t Fought anybody remotely good until Fury 2

Even Fury 1 was a cherry pick but it all went horribly wrong when he gave Deontay a boxing lesson.
Trouble then was that Wilder (Finkel et al) were caught in a trap of their own making.
Wilder was GIFTED the draw which inevitably meant a rematch and that was always going to trap Wilder in the ring with his first ever credible opponent.

As soon as Deontay faced a quality fighter he was shown up for the poorly skilled glass canon he is.

AJ spat out his mouthpiece to buy some time, like how Bootleg D and his team avoided prime world class opponents his entire career to buy some time in order to keep that WBC strap in his possession for as long as possible and keep the gravy train rolling. Only difference is AJ was only trying to buy a few extra seconds whereas Team Bootleg D bought years.

Cherry pick blah blah blah. All that crap is over and done with. None if it works anymore.

Wilder has fought the current World Heavyweight Champion twice and the current #4 heavyweight contender twice and he has one loss, to the champ. No other ranked fighter in the top 10 has better credentials than that.

You guys may have bashed Wilder when he was a beltholder, but as a contender lined up alongside all the other guys in the top 10, he's got better credentials than they do. And none of those contenders are fighting anyone. And we're three months into the year.

#7 ranked Parker is fighting some 13-2 journeyman named Shawndell tomorrow since his last fight nearly a year ago against freaking Leapai.

Wilder fought #4 Ortiz three months ago. The World Champ Fury last Saturday. And he's fighting Fury again this summer.

So the "Wilder hasn't fought anyone" campaign rings pretty damn false these days, especially when the whole top 10 is basically sitting on its collective butt.

So come up with something new.

Deal with what? Fury beating DW? TWICE in the eyes of most everyone? Gee... how will I get over that?

When DW either avenges his loss, or beats another top level HW, we can talk. Until then.... :boxing1

The underdog? He was favourite with the bookmakers. Most pundits and boxers were picking Wilder to win.

Talk about what? Wilder has lost once. To the World Champ.

At least Wilder didn't get dropped four times and quit against Andy Ruiz. (Works like a charm. LOL)

Mate, I won £33 on Fury because no one ever believed he was going to knock Wilder out. All the American sportscasters who DKSAB thought Wilder was going to win. David 'Smoking Toe' Haye thought Wilder was going to win. Even Teddy Atlas thought Wilder was going to win and Atlas knew that Wilder can't fight worth a damn.

The only reason that Wilder can brag that he lost to a true champion (well, he could have before he blamed the costume, the referee, the trainer and everybody but himself) is because his handlers kept him from fighting anybody remotely like a Ruiz who could have given him the shock upset. He was a paper champion, a champion who wouldn't have lasted five minutes back in the 90s or even the early 2000s
